I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but the WWE creating a "network representative" in Palmer Canon is exactly the same thing that ECW did when they were on TNN(spike tv) and they were trying to piss of the network.

ECW absolutely hated TNN. TNN did everything in their power to prevent these guys from being successful. No advertising, editing stuff that was too extreme, etc. Paul Heyman created a "network representative" named Cyrus aka the Jackyl from WWE.

This just seems like the WWE's way of trying to piss off UPN. And now creating a tag team (the Tolands) but possibly calling them the Dicks? And that lingerie pillow fight between Stacy and Christy from a few months back being cut from the Smackdown taping. :WTF:

Please someone get back to me on this. Let me hear your thoughts.

It is an attack on the network. Teddy long is the face. Canon is the heel. Even when Vince showed up that one week on Smackdown, he said he hated the network. Or something like that. But Vince didn't shake Canon's hand or even talk to him at all, he focused on Teddy.

That leads me to think. This Junior's division is Canon's idea. Perhaps the "network" will fail with such a lame idea... it could be a perfect way to write him off the show. Who knows. Is this Canon guy even a wrestler? He certainly doesn't look like the type of guy who would work with the network.

TooCool, Palmer Canon IS a wrestler who trained in OVW. I have to agree that this is WWE's way of pissing off UPN, especially after they moved SD to Friday nights. I'm thinking that WWE may continue this, or re-start this, next year when SD leaves UPN.

Yep, I smelled the ECW v. The Network thing too. At least they're doing it to prove what a pain UPN is.

Yeah, they are probably doing this to get back at UPN. They get rid of Hassan, block Melina's entrance...I would be pissed too. Haha, but Palmer's acting is terrible. Long's is no better either.

I thought it was blatantly obvious from, like 2 months back that this was a copy of the ECW line, and I think its been discussed on the board b4. The "huh?" was like a "Have I gone back in time?".

Back on topic though, i don't mind the storyline as there is some real feeling behind it, but it isn't scoring yet with the execution.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.
