Maybe it was one those hurt like hell when you hit, but didn't permantly hurt you kinda hits.

What on earth was supposed to happen there? I can't tell from the clip. Was Booker T supposed to catch him, or did he just dive to far?

I was wondering that too. I grew to like Booker over the years, but I still think he kind of sucks in the ring.

jesus that looked brutal, Benoit overshot it a bit but it wouldn't have been so bad if Booker had atleast tried to catch him. That piece of shit acted like someone just fired a cruise missel at his head diving out of the way like that. For shame booker for shame.

No, I think the spot was booked for Booker to miss, and Benoit to hit the side of the table. It seemed that the whole thing was pre-planned to the extent Benoit was meant to hit the table.. But of course, Benoit overshot it, and smashed into the table. Great on him to continue, it was a savage spot, and really could have smashed his vertabrae

yeah, i saw it on Smackdown last friday. The crowd was chanting holy shiT! It was a crazy bump, i thought benoit was seriously hurt. He continued with the match though, mad props to him, and the match was pretty awesome.
