Owen Hart DVD

In the last Ross Report JR alluded to WWE releasing an Owen Hart DVD in the future and that they had avoided this in the past since since they hadn't wanted to be seen to raking over the coals of what happened.

What are your opinions about this?

Do you trust WWE to do a suitably sensitive and non-biased commentary of his life?

Are there any particular matches/feuds you'd want to see again?

What should be done with the profits?

Would it be sensible/good gesture, if they were to make their own money back on the costs of making and publishing the DVD but that the chief amount of profit be put in trust for Owen's two children for example?

Would you buy it?

I would love to see a Owen Hart DVD, he wasn't my favorite wrestle but I always enjoyed his matches.

Owen was loved by almost, and probably everyone, in the locker room and the executives. I think they would be sensitive about this because they still care about him, and anything less could result in a lot of bad PR for the company.

Let's see, I would like to see some of the matches he had against his brother Bret(particulary WrestleMania X and SummerSlam 1994). I'd also like to see his match against Razor Ramon to win KOTR 1994, and his last match before his death(him & Jeff Jarrett Vs. Godfather & Val Venis). There are others but those are the main ones.

As for the profits, I think they should give at least 20% of the earnings from the DVD(maybe even 50%) into a trust for Owen's kids.

Yes, I would buy this DVD for sure.

I would love to see this, but i would boycott it if they showed any footage from the night of his death (obviously they wouldn't show the fall), but genral things like the scaffolding or him being carried away in the stretcher. The DVD shoould me as a tribute to the memory of Owen similar to the format of Raw Is Owen, but this time they put his matches in there. A must buy if it were to come out

Also, the idea of the profits going towards his children would also be a nice touch

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Oh yeah, you might as well add in Raw is Owen to the DVD since i'm sure fans would want to see that too.

It would be great (if of course this were to happen) if somehow they got Jeff Jarrett to say a little piece about Owen, they were very close. But given wrestling politics i'm not sure how feasible that would be

I doubt it will happen though, Jarret hates WWE and WWE doesn't like Jarrett either. If it's for Owen though and the profits are going to his kids I think he might be willing to do it.

That's the thing though. If this were to be made, it would have to be done in the right spirit. Not allowing Jarrett to comment or Jarrett himself not commenting would take away from that spirit i feel.

i'd buy this for sure. There is no such footage of Owen's actual fall. It happened too fast and WWE cameras weren't rolling because they were airing a promo.
