I could see it happening now. Maybe WWE has realized that they made a mistake turning him heel this last time. Plus, if you think about it, Batista loses the title to Orton, Eddie wins it from Orton, and then Batista challenges Eddie for the title @ WM22..

It could be like the Mega Powers all over again w/ Eddie and Batista plowing through SD! like old school Macho and Hogan.

No you're not. They might do something like they did with Lesnar and Angle, Angle was a heel but then he lost the title and afterwards hugged Lesnar and that helped make him a face.

I don't think they will wait that long though, but it does seem like they are thinking about making him a face again since his run as a heel has been terrible since the only thing he has really done was feud with Rey Mysterio. I still can't understood why they turned him when they did since he was really popular at the time.

They may well do it, but I always think it's a risky move to do it repeatedly as they did with Big Show for many years.

Whenever a guy turns, the turn seems slightly less impactful than the one before.

They could always pull a swerve and turn Dave heel. Russoism at its best. But yeah, I always loved the old Mega Powers story that's why I brought it up. I think it'd be a nice change of pace for SD! but... I could be wrong!

Nobody should try to copy Russo's ideas, this was the guy that want to make TANK ABBOTT WCW World Champion. Besides, I think Batista is more over as a face and i'm not sure if the fans would still care if he turned heel, at least not thisway. If they want to turn him heel eventually that is alright, but don't turn him heel this way.

But Tank would have given the Title belt real credibility. He was a proven shoot fighter and had a modicum of mic skills. A Tank Abbott title run could have saved WCW.

I don't think Eddie will turn face. He's going to "turn" on Batista here in the next couple of weeks to set up their Survivor Series rematch. I'd like to see Eddie as a face again, but it's not going to happen just yet.

i hope Eddie will become a face soon. He played the face on Smackdown last week, and the fans were loving him. I love the old guerrero...but I hate how tazz and cole are saying he is changed man over and over again. It is very annoying, and it probably means he will still be a heel and turn on batista later on.

At this point, I don't think there's anything that Eddie can do that'll make me not a fan. Face, heel, everytime I see him on TV, I don't change the channel...

Now unless of course if a few years down the line, he becomes washed up, and decides to make a rap album ripping into Benoit.... then things might change
