WWE Needs another writer. (Shocking huh?)

Well it appears that WWE is looking for another Creative Writer.

Link Here: http://www.wwe-careers.com/wwe/jobbo...=253&Keywords=

Here's a rundown of what they are looking for:
************************************************** *******
Requirements:

Qualified candidates should possess:
BA/BS in Film, TV, Drama, Media Studies, Communications or equivalent

Minimum of two years writing and/or TV production experience; professional TV staff experience in drama and comedy, a plus

Willing to relocate to Stamford, CT

Knowledge of WWE talent and story lines is required

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Flexible travel schedule (extensive travel required)
************************************************** *******
So, what are you waiting for? Vince needs you!!!

Interesting to note they are looking for someone expirenced in "Comedy and Drama" Television writing. As well as "Knowledge of WWE talent and story lines", which apparently must be a new requirement if the programming lately as said anything about their current writers.

"The Fire Still Burns!!!"

I agree that "Knowledge of WWE talent and story lines is required" must be new since the writers usually seem like they've never watched any WWE programming before. I think Simon mentioned before they he want to try out for this, and he would be better than most of the WWE's writers.
I don't understand why they have Paul Heyman down in OVW instead of bringing him back to SmackDown to write.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

I'd say they'd need to have a whole lot more BS about them than they may think

Strangely enough, if i had stuck with the course i was doing at university, i think i could've applied for that job by the end of 2007

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

I can see it now as Snitsky pins Hunter in 21 and a half seconds to lift the title at Wrestlemania!!

What are you talking about, he'll do it in three, to beat the current record for quickest match (4 seconds), held by The Rock at Survivor Series 1998 over The Big Bossman

well JV, I know you're a bit jaded over the WWE experience, but do you ever think about applying again? I don't know if you worry that they'll take your ideas - I know you've alluded to that in the past. personally I'd love to see you as a WWE writer.
on a side note, I do love the Raw reviews and I got my dad hooked on them too. I figured it was only fair as he got me hooked on wrestling in the first place.

I'm going to apply one day.. I'll most likely get turned down becuse I know too much about the current roster and have too many good ideas.

Then I'll go work for NWA: God Knows Where..

Oh Blitzy, come out to KS and you and Craig and maybe even I can all work for NWA.
haha, too bad they don't have any money and probably don't even have writers- I'll have to find out if the owner just comes up w/ the few storylines they have or if it's just the wrestlers.
