Raw Thoughts for 10.10.05. Vince fires the obvious.

Oy, WWE has done some really stupid things in the past, but firing JR really hurts. I suppose this was done to a degree with JR's consent (ie, making an angle out of it, and putting over heels that'll be on TV for the next few months), but no one can look good coming out of this.

I know I'm just being overly optimistic, but here's hoping that the whole thing (including the Mike Goldberg replacing JR rumors) is just one big sworkve (that's right baby new internet term!! work + swerve = sworkve..... alright I'll shut up now)

RAW was pretty mediocre this week. The highlight for me was the Cabana segment. That ruled. I could have done without the McMahon-Levesque total hour long promos (20 mins a piece) scattered throughout the show.

Raw was medicocre with a large reason being the McMahon's having the last 20 minutes focused on them.

Pros:
-We had another blast from the past, this time in the form of Doink
-Kurt Angle give the victory over HBK
-We didn't have to suffer through Candice Michelle or have to listen to her or Torrie Wilson
-Carlito's Cababa, it sounds like they might be setting up an Elimination Chamber match for them

Cons:
-Triple H is great at promos but that was a little too long
-The McMahon's hogging the last 20 minutes, and we didn't even see Shane
-Linda doing one of the worst heel turns ever
-JR being "fired", let's hope that was just a work and he returns to the announcers booth soon
-Did we really need to see Masters Vs. Tajiri again?
