The Rightful Champion Contest

Yeah, I hear you guys say â€œJohnny McGeneric should have won the world titleâ€ Time to put you money where your CPU is.

Here's the rules:

1. Your job is to pick sixteen guys (if you have more thatâ€™s fine) who have never won the WWWF/WWF/WWE/World heavyweight title that you feel should have and pit them in tournament battle, similar to King of the Ring.

2. Choose the match-ups (and byes if you have more 16 but more or less than 32) as you see fit and chose who wins and advances and who loses until your champ is crowned in the finals.

3. You have the option of telling the forum members by what way did the victor win the battle (i.e. Pinfall, Finisher, Trademark, Submission, Chair etc.) You also have the option of making a losers bracket.

4. By no means do I want to see people who won the HW leather in your tournaments (no not even Kane, even though he got robbed).

5. Like the GM Contests, no recycling wrestlers after they are picked (i.e. no Vinnie Vegas and Diesel or Rocker Shawn Michaels and HBK).

6. Choose who you, personally, would think would be best. Also have fun with it.

7. The entrys will be voted on by the forum members by October 25 until October 26th in which a winner will be selected and they will be named the JV.C World Heveywight champion.

I don't think I fully understand, we're listing 16 or more guys that haven't won the WWF belt, and were puttin them in a fictional tournament situation? I'm not knocking the idea, but we could just list guys we think shoulda won the belt and why, instead everyone gets their own personal tournament and then the guy that was picked the most wins? I'm not being a smartass, I'm really asking.

I honestly believe that Rey has paid more dues than Adam. Rey should get a shot at the title sometime. I think that once the WWE puts the title on Orton again, him and Rey could have some good matches together.

I remember after Eddie Guerrero won the title he gave Rey a title shot and they had a pretty good match, I just don't know if Mysterio could be taken serious as anything more than s hort term champion.
