Rep Power: 6 | What if there were some kind of championship match where the belt was suspended above the ring, but at the very top of the arena at the catwalk. There would be a certain period of time, say 30 minutes, during which the belt would slowly descend to the ring to the point that it would be at the same height as the top rope (e.g. low enough to grab it without assistance). The winner would be the first to grab the belt. The match psychology would be kind of a Last Man Standing concept - get your opponent incapacitated to the point that once the belt got low enough to grab, it'd be easy pickings. However, it would also incorporate some big spots, because as the belt got lower, ladder match elements could be thrown in. Or, of course, crazy high spots off of the top rope to try to grab onto the belt would come into play. | |

Rep Power: 10 | I was going through some of my old booking that i did for Smackdown, and found something i remembered liking. It was a League of Champions thing. Where it basically pitted 8 guys against each other in a Round Robin format. Then after each guy had fought everyone once. The person sitting on the bottom of the table, would be eliminated and the process would begin again. Until it came down to one final featuring the two top guys. It would take a long time to complete, but i think it'd be awesome and give wrestling more of a sports feel, especially if it's used as a midcard platform and the winner could be declared the True King of the Ring or something like that. | |
