Rep Power: 77 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Changed views When you think of wrestling when you were growing up, or even just a few years back, are their any performers who you really liked who when you now look back with hindsight you really were god damn awful. I know the obvious one is Warrior, but what others come to mind> For me Ahmed Johnson. He had good entrance music, an awesome look. He was even okay on the mic and had some good power moves. But when I look back now he just sucked. It's easy to say "oh he just sucks now or in his run with WCW when he was obese but he really did suck. Even in his prime when I see old matches of him. Similarly is there someone who you used to think was awful but you now realise was awesome. Mine here would be Vader. I used to think "fat tub of lard piece of crap". But man if you watch his stuff!!! Until Brock came along he was the best big man wrestler I've seen.

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | I think Hulk Hogan is another obvious choice, I love watching him when I was young but looking back I realize how bad he was. Same thing with Lex Luger, he was one of my favorites and watching him travel across the country with the Lex Express. I always hope he would win the WWE Championship, and was scheduled to do that at WrestleMania X before he got drunk and blabbed it before it happened. I agree about Vader, watching a 400 pound man hit a moonsault is a pretty awesome site to see. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | I regret coming to sites like this as that ruined wrestling for me as I knew what was gonna happen and usually why. Back in the old days I used to get really wound up and mark out like crazy for run ins, now I see them coming a mile away and couldn't care less. I also seem to remember thinking that the Big Bossman was the best wrestler ever. |

| I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking. | ||

Hogan is the obvious choice because you look now and realise how bad he was compared to someone like Tyson Tomko, at least Tomko can string a few moves together and not do the same repetitive moves every match like Hogan did and still does.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Yes Hogan wasn't a great worker, but, you put him in there with the right guy to match his style and he had some good matches. Repetitive, yes, but still good. OK, for me guys I liked and now realize weren't any good: Warrior and Hacksaw Jim Duggan are the top two for me. |

Back then I thought the Hogan/Andre match was the big deal on WMIII but it turns out, Steamboat/Savage is the one everyone remembers the most.. Well, the real fans anyway.

I also thought Paul the Giant Wight was really good, but then he did used to be quite a bit better, not just in the ring, but the difference in the push he got back when he started wcw compared to what he gets now makes him seem better then too. it is amazing though what just 8 or 10 years has done to that man.
