An easy idea for the WWE broadcasting teams

Dont tell them who is going to win each match.

It would add to the actual "sports" not "entertainment" aspect of the show.

For example, last night Coach kept talking about how he guarunteed that Flair would be a 24 hour champion. As soon as I hear that its "Ok, well Flair will win" Fast forward thanks to TiVo.

Dont they realize how obvious even the most subtle of things they say give away so much to the show?

It does get annoying Simon, whenever the announcers gurantee someone will win they usually end up losing.

Yep, that's bad. The worst, though, is when JR says: "The odds against Cena are insurmountable," you know that Cena will somehow overcome the odds and win.

Or, when an announcer says "Eddie Guerrero has no chance to beat Brock Lesnar." OK, why don't they just tell us that Eddie's going to pull the upset?

I mean I know what they are trying to do (build up the match/angle), but it's overkill and oftentimes gives away the result of the match. It would be nice if the announcers were less obvious with their comments, but this has been going on for years now in WWE and I doubt it's going to stop anytime soon.

Michael Cole always does this, terribly annoying. "Oh my God we're going to have a new champion..."

This pisses me off to no end. I've heard that Lawler doesn't know to make himself look more real, but he is terrible anyway.

I hate it when they give away finishes like that. What they should do is just analyze the match and put over the strengths and weeknesses of each wrestler. Real analysis, not this bullshit about somebody not being able to overcome the odds.

Thanks why Jesse and Gorilla were so good in the 80's. They would actually break down the matches and tell you what each wrestler had to do to win the match. Sure, some of the strategy was obvious to anyone watching, but it was still a nice touch that is missing today. Tazz does it once in a while, which is good, but they never do it on RAW b/c King is too busy telling 10-year-old jokes.

yeah, they always give away the ending when they say subtle shiet like taht. I like how really like tazz's commentating..he's probably the best they have rigth now

Tazz is the best play by play man on the SD brand and a close 2nd to JR IMO. I like that he sounds like he knows what he is talking about and not being told what to say like Michael Cole. He actually says why a wrestler is doing this or that and isn't shocked if someone like Eddie Guerrero of JBL cheats to win wheras Cole would act like it was the pope cheating.

yeah, I hate how cole always gets upset when people cheat. I especially hate it when heels grab the rope to break up the pin, he's like what a cowardly way out, but when the faces do it he's like good instincts. Can't have it both ways dude. COle has improved a lot though, but he still gets on my nerves sometimes.
