Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Booker T I wanna talk about Booker T for a moment. When is the Book-Man going to get what he deserves? He got tons of accomplishments and some good history but he just cant reach the top. I admit I use to be a big Booker T fan but in the last year or so its been kinda embarrassing to say. Ive moved on to the future ,Shelton Benjamin. Somebody please tell whats my man gotta do to be taken seriously around here? I always had this vision that one day Tazz taught Book the Tazzmission and he called the "The Bookmission" lol. He could use that insead of that Book End. |

However, he does have a role that he can fit and I think that's where they have him on the card. He isn't exactly a jobber, I think WWE is doing a good job with him right now.

He did beat Kurt Angle just before Angle was drafted to RAW, so it's not like Booker's jobbing every week. He's a solid upper mid-card guy but I don't think we'll ever see Booker T as a World Champion again.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Seriously...unless WWE does something with him, imma get bored and tired of him...his last decent feud was with Angle but the storyline was whack...for some reason, he just can't get to the top...the last time i was really into him was when he turned face and beat up JBL and OJ...but since then, he's almost like a jobber...hell, he even got beat up by Mexicools...he also lost to Ken Kennedy, although Kennedy is a superstar on the rise...plus, his wife needs to take time off the air, she annoys me...

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | This may be way out of left field, but I believe that in order for Booker to get back on top, it will have to be in the Tag Team division. He is an amazing tag team wrestler when he was a part of Harlem Heat with his brother Stevie Ray. I don’t really like Stevie Ray, so lets not bring him back. Don’t get me wrong, I like Booker as a singles wrestler. His best of 7 series with Benoit was reason enough to change the channel from USA to TNT, but I loved him as a tag team wrestler. Booker should go to Raw, because their tag division sucks even more than Smackdown’s, in my opinion. He should start up Harlem Heat with Shelton Benjamin. Neither one of these guys are getting the push that they deserve, so this is a way for both of them to succeed. Let me know what you think. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | I said it a week or so ago. but to me, he's nothing but an overglorified midcarder. He is of use, don't get me wrong, but as long as he stays in the midcard. His fleeting chance at a higher position was squashed in 2003 and i see no need for him to be in the upper tier now.
| I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking. | ||

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I think Booker's being handled well right now. I mean, it's easy to get hung up on the fact that he was a five-time, five-time...ehhh, you get the point WCW Champion and that he hasn't had a single run with either of WWE's top belts. But, he was the WCW Champion during that fed's dying days. In those days, the midcarders were pushed to the main event because the big names didn't want to work. Look at who won the WCW World Title during 2000-01 (WCW's last year and change before being bought): Chris Benoit (who left immediately to go to the then-WWF) Sid (2x) Jeff Jarrett (4x) DDP David Arquette (who can forget that booking blunder?) Ric Flair (2x) Kevin Nash (2x) Booker T (4x - his 5th time came when he was in the WWF during the Invasion angle) Scott Steiner So, that made 18 title changes in 16 months - not too impressive in my book. Not to discount some of the names in that list - OK, two: Flair and Benoit, but the rest of the guys are not proven draws, some are sub-par workers, and of course Arquette should just be happy he was lucky enough to land a chick like Courteney Cox and stay the f--- out of a wrestling ring. I guess my point is, when Booker was a WCW Champion (all five times were within a 13-month period), the belt was about as valued as the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is now. Booker is a solid midcard-to-uppercard guy. He never should be the top draw as a heel or a face. He doesn't connect with the crowd well enough to do so. He's a better-than-average worker who is redunant both in his promos and in his ringwork. He hasn't done a thing to freshen up his character since coming to WWE, and that says a lot for someone who's changed heel to face a handful of times in the past few years. So, not to diss on the Book-man here, but I think he's staying put where he is on the card and that's a well-deserved spot.

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | Some people say that the only reason WCW had Booker T win the title was because at the time WCW was facing racial discrimination lawsuit and thought that by having a black person win the world title that would help things. I always liked Booker T but I never thought that he was a main eventer. |
