WWE Misusing Talent.

I got to thinking the other day how WWE misuses all the talent they bring in from other company's.
There has been a long line of people who have achieved so much in other promotions but then come to wwe and get nowhere.

EG:
Jerry Lynn
Mike Awesome
Booker T
Paul London

Recently they have been grounding the cruiserweights and although he has only had 2 matches, burchill is already looking like a watered down version of his FWA days.
They need to be a little less strict on some of the performers because at the moment the wwe is killing itself slowly by not letting the talent perform to the levels that have been seen elsewhere.

Thoughts.

I never thought Mike Awesome was that good personally. I don't like it but I can understand why WWE doesn't want their wrestlers to take risks, WWE is a buisness and these wrestlers are their productd so if they get injured then they lose a product and depending on who it is could mess up a stoyline as well.

The whole point to people like Paul London and Paul Burchill is that they are risk takers and that is what makes them special and what got them noticed in the first place. If you take away Burchills arial risk moves you take away the very thing that makes him the wrestler he is today.

An example of this could be Rob Van Dam. They guy had a huge fan base in ECW and in WWE before he even arrived. They let him express himslef at first in matches like ladder match with Jeff Hardy etc BUT then they gave him "the formula" where he would split leg moonsault, rolling thunder ... frog splash FINISH. This is very much the same with Rey Mysterio he also has "a formula". What happened to allowing some creative freedom???

Seeing this topic, just have to say "what else is new." They're never going to utilize talent properly. That's what you get when you let your daughter, son-in-law, and morons who know s*** about wrestling do all the writing. Bring back Heyman dammit!!!

I watched the entire One Night Stand for the first time today. I've never been a huge Mike awesome fan, but he impressed me in his match and could've definitely been used a lot better.

Thy dropped the ball big time with RVD in 2001, lets hope they rectify that, when he returns this year.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

I don't think WWE ever plans on pushin RVD to main event status, I think they plan to maybe have him win the IC and/or US title and nothing more.
