Who should be champion on SD! ?

The key word here is "should".. Batista was/is a decent champion (I don't want to give away what happend on SD!) but I don't like the fact that he just rolls right through his opponents.. He makes the entire roster look weak in comparision. I think it's cool to get a few squash wins here and there, but not every damn match. It gets boring after a while. A face champion gets boring after a while too.. they should be in the chase for most of the year, then win, and then lose it a few months later.. That's it.

JBL was/is a BAD champion.. I can't get into any of his matches all. They are even more boring than Dave's matches, except when they face each other and then it's just beyond brutal. JBL is a tad better on the mic than Batista at this time, but it doesn't help much.. Add in the fact that JBL has fought everyone on the roster and I see no point for him having the title either..

So, if I don't like Dave or JBL as a champion, who do I like? Well, I don't think it takes a genius to figure this out. The champ should be heel and he should also be able to put on decent to good matches.. for the long term. So either Orton, Guerrero, or a heel Benoit to me would be more interesting..

The only thing that would/could also be interesting is if the champ was a major underdog face.. That means Rey Mysterio.. but he couldn't be champion for that long because he can't fight everyone and make it believable..

Who would you make champion for the long term?

I'd say Orton. He is the future. So build the show around him. A run with Eddie wouldn't be that bad either. I think on Smackdown (maybe even on Raw) that we need heel champions now. The faces have run their course with their respective belts.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Before he retires I would like to see Undertaker have at least 1 more run as champion, but for right now I think that that Eddie Guerrero would be a good champion and enable smaller wrestlers like Rey Mysterio look like they could actually win the title.

Eddie Guerrero. He's the total package. In-ring skills, mic skills, can play heel or face. Just a great all-around talent. And he's over with the crowd

I like Batista as champ for right now. He should be plowing through the competition IMO b/c he's supposed to be "The Animal" and destroy everyone, and that's exactly what he's doing. Plus, Batista's not getting any younger so you have to maximize his time at the top of the card and I think this is the right way to do it.

I say keep the belt on Batista until WM 22, then have him drop it to Randy Orton, who can then carry the belt for a while.

Eddie Gurrero... I actually marked out when he won the title, something I rarely do. He can work with anyone.

I got to go with Randy Orton. maybe Taker, just so he can have one last good run. But Randy Orton is just so good at being ****y.I wan tto see a heel champion again. Come out to the ring, with the belt, do that smile, brag about how good he is, and no body can take the belt away from him. Then some challenger comes out. Everyone hopes and thinks he will beat him. But nope! RKO.. Dangit, Orton better be champ soon...

Orton would be good but I'd save that for Wrestlemania against whoever. Guerrero would be nice in the meantime. I can't take much more Batista for the love of god.

Am I the only one here that likes Batista?! Man, that guy totally reeks of awesomenes...And I'm diggin his comedy, like when he tried Simon's stuff and was like..."WOOooah Woaahooo, I feel bigger!" His in-ring work isn't too bad either...I mean, so one sucks more than JBL and JBL held the title FOREVER...I think Batista can be a great champ if the writers can build up a crazy feud wtih Orton, Guerrero, etc...so I say keep Batista champ for a while and see what happens from there...
