Rather than being a typical. Weee, 10K!!! Go me post. I figured I would take the time to make it a worthwhile post and demonstrate that not all the prior 9,999 posts were garbage.

This is my version of the Ross Report, but I will withhold from the following terms.

I hope you enjoy my thoughts on the WWE as of September of 2005.


*Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are the latest attempts at rehashing the worst group of tag teams in the last 30 years. Not only has Lance Cade already been Garrison Cade, but Murdoch looks like a uglier version of Dusty Rhodes, if thats possible. What do they honest want us to think when these dudes come from nowhere and BEAT the tag team champions? They want us to think that they are a legit tag team to be reckoned with but all it does is make Hurricane and Rosey look even worse than they already do. Its a damn joke.

Meanwhile backstage, the Hearthrobs grease each other up while Charlie Haas, Kidman and the Dudleys are no longer here. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

*Shawn Michaels continues to portray the babyface even though its blatantly obviously that he was drawing the best heat he had heard in years when he worked with Hogan. Another terrible mistake by not only HBK but the Writers as well.

*JBL will beat Batista in this ridiculous Bull Rope Match. Mark it down. They want to shock viewers with this new show on Friday nights. It won't work. Ya see, its the same exact show, but now its on when even less people are home.

*Smackdown should be scrapped altogether and Raw should go from 8 to 11:15 pm each Monday night. One show for the love of god !!! Every division is instantly fixed and stacked. Even the tag teams Vinny.

*People forget that Smackdown was basically created to give The Rock his own show.

*Will Brooke Hogan get that record deal? :erm2:

*The Brock Lesnar internet talk certainly has settled down. Maybe he really is a weird ass dude after all.

*Ok, Eddie Guerrero is a heel now, right? Can we leave him a heel for more than a month please? It seems only Kane surpases Eddie for most turns.

*Who beats Cena for the WWE Title? Your guess is as good as mine. It won't be Angle and it won't be Edge after that. All signs point to HHH.

*Will Edge wait till Mania to use his MOTB contract?

*Will Lita's breasts continue to part like the Red Sea?

*Did you realize that Bischoff has been the General Manager of Raw for like 3 years now? That just seems weird to me.

*How come nobody busts on Mick Foley for only coming back when he has a book to push? People seem to not let Hogan get away with it?

*Here's to hoping Survivor Series actually returns to its former format. Here's also to hoping Bret Hart is there......Most likely not till Mania though.

*Tyson Tomko can kick people hard now. Watch out !!

*The WWE has been going against the norm lately. The proven recipe for sucess was always have the face chase the heel champ. Now Cena and Batista are beating all the top heels. Pretty boring TV if you ask me.

*Benoit looks to be the ONLY person that is benefiting from this years draft.

*You know what would be fantastic? Bring Trish into the Hardy/Edge/Lita angle....Trish would get face reactions upon her return. She already dislikes Lita storyline wise and she could be the voice for Hardy during split promos.

It would be classic stuff. She is one the WWE best talents in the history of the company. Man or woman. Yup, I said it.

*I bet I am not the only one that thought Batista would spend half his career on the Disabled List. Boy was I wrong.

*The Dudley Boys has decided to spin their old name with a Simpsons twist. They will now be known as the Diddily Doodalees.

*Did you hear they are in talks with Sean "XPac" Waltman? You know you miss that greasy midget.

Good stuff, Simon and congrats on post # 10,000.

I agree with most of your points, but I disagree with Cade-Murdoch. I see potential in them and think they can be a good tag team. You're right in saying that Murdoch is an ugly bastard, though.

I like the Trish idea, but I have a feeling she's going to be thrown into the Diva storyline.

X-Pac has been having some really good matches in TNA, so it's possible he could contribute something to WWE. If he does return, could it possibly be as Triple H's lackey once Trips kicks Naitch to the curb?

I thought the same thing about Batista being hurt a lot. Thankfully we were wrong. I think he should've stayed on RAW, though.

I like Foley, but yeah he does get away with doing the same thing Hogan did; which is using WWE to publicize an outside venture. At least Foley can still work.

I'm not here to praise Trish.. you all know how I feel about her talent, I think Simon is right.

Actually, I think Simon is right on most things presented in this thread. Does anyone feel like me when you sit there and watch SD! or even RAW in recent weeks and kind of feel like "What now?" ..

During the attitude era or even 2000-2001, I always had a good feeling about most shows, ppv's, etc. But nowadays, I hear people use terms.. "Well.. at least it was better than last week" or a sentence like "They had some decent shows, they are aloud a crappy one".. I don't like it. I'm not saying WWE should be great 52 weeks a year, because even during their best of times they weren't perfect, but c'mon.. I think we have all succumb to how BAD the product has been..

Lets think about this. You have tag titles on BOTH shows that don't mean a damn thing. You have a CW title that means nothing. Why are these still championships? Those two tag matches they had last night were a complete waste of time. They could have given The Shelton/Conway match 25 min. or something. We didn't need WWE to try and make us believe they are fixing the tag division..

I will say "Now what?" Murdoch and Cade win the titles.. You know why? because nothing will change. Their first opponents after they win the titles will be guess who? That's right Hurricane & Rosey. Who cares?

Then you have the CW div. and they want to tone down the aerial offense. Well, seeing as that's the ONLY reason why people even care about Cruisers, somebody explain to me what the point is of having this div.? It's like one guy wins the title and then again, I say "now what?"

Batista and Cena are champions.. "Now what?" this is the biggest question I've had. When is WWE going to do something different with these titles. We've been watching the same crap for months. When is somebody going to be a serious challenger to Cena? I can't even fathom WWE putting the belt on Angle here, and to me that's scary.. Angle SHOULD be champion right now.. I really believe that. The show needs ahe big heel champion.

Same with Batista.. What would the point be with going back to JBL with the title? Forget it.. We need something different.. When are they going to learn that these two guys can't wrestle and put on entertaining matches?

Why isn't Eddie champ? Or Orton? Or Benoit? What's so hard to figure out here? Batista and Cena should be chasing or at least one of them should be and they aren't.. It bores me to death..

Congrats on your 10,000th post...and i do agree with your many points...but I've never forgotten that Smackdown! is basically The Rock's show...and I still think Angle should win the WWE Championship...Hahaha, and I'm diggin how Benoit is makin OJ look like a piece of shit...

With Foley, i think the thing thats understood is that he comes out and blatantly says "This is a cheap plug" and he has the personality to get away with it. He just seems like a nice guy and it shows through on tv.

With hogan, he comes and claims to be doing everything "for the Hulkamaniacs" and the smart fans can see through his b.s, and see what he is really trying to push.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.
