RAW Thoughts for Sept. 5, 2005

I thought it was better than last week

Pros:
-Masters defeated HBK in the Masterlock Challenge
-Angle beat the snot out of Cena
-Flair appearing on the Cabana

Cons:
-Torrie wrestled and spoke
-Shelton losing to Conway
-Cena winning after getting his ass kicked by Tomko but still won
-the womens match feature 2 women who can't wrestle, although only Ashley has an excuse

I think Raw is just getting worse and worse and worse. The ONLY two entertaining parts of the entire show were Kurt Angle and did anybody else see that awesome sign that said "Cena 3:16 Says I've seen this already before" THAT was awesome. Otherwise... show was boring.

Ok.. I don't think this was even a "mixed bag" effort.. JV said RAW was lackluster. I think it was just total shit.

All I can say is "Kurt Angle" .. that's it. He was the whole show.

Even though Masters won the challenge, it looked really gay the way he did it. I think they should have been able to come up with a better way to handle it than they did.

Then you have the tag division. Are you kidding me? Who cares about Val and Vis as a team? Viscera SHOULD be fired. The Heart Throbs are awful, and one half of the tag champs is one of the biggest pieces of shit wrestlers in the company (Rosey). Not to mention, H & R have been booked beyond awful. I see a little potential in Cade & Murdoch but not much.. We'll see.

Carlito's Cabana was decent when Flair got out there but Ashley ruined the segment. Why was she laighing at everything? She needs to learn how to speak on the mic before she gets out there again..

The women's match was brutal.. It was Ahh!! Man, I know Ashley is new and needs more training but what's Torrie's excuse? She STILL can't do anything. I was hoping Trish would make her comeback but that didn't happen..

Then Conway beats Shelton. I think Conway is a good athlete, I still don't like his gimmick, but Shelton really deserves better than what he's been getting. Shelton could be a future world champion, but he's getting fucked right now. Who cares if he's not good on the mic yet? Then give him a mouthpiece or something..christ.. it's not that hard to figure out.

I do like Tomko's new KO style.. it's a cool gimmick.

ICEMAN

This was one of the worst editions of RAW I've seen in quite a while. Everything except for Kurt Angle was awful IMO.

A very very poor episode of RAW, I don't know why I keept watching... maybe in the hope of it getting better. And the only good bit according you everyone was Kurt Angle, and I didn't have any freaking sound for that part!!

Ric Flair dropping an elbow and knee on an Apple was the highlight for me!

Kurt Angle proved once again that he deserves to be the champ though. He is the best.

Pros: young guys getting a chance.

Cons: everything else was a total waste. a very poor edition of raw this week. Maybe there just counting down the days until they return to the usa network.
