Anyone catch the last Smackdown on Thursday nights? While Smackdown has been on Thursdays for 6 years, I missed about two years in the 2001-2003 period. Friday nights are gonna be weird now. Today's episode was pretty good, and the main event with Rey and Orton was awesome. They are hyping up Friday nights now, with a huge card lined up for next week to try to hook the viewers. I think all the titles are on the line too...well except the cruiserweight. Maybe Smackdown can be the next Urkel, and rejuvinate Friday night television. Probably not, but I'll still watch it. Oh yeah, so what did you think of Smackdown? haha.

No. Hence no Smackdown thread. Lol, i'm kidding. I personally don't want it, basically because i can't get onto the site i downloaded it from but even if i could I'd be tentative about doing so. Although Rey-Randy sounded like it was awesome.

That is the only thing I managed to watch, and man was I ever cheering for Orton. he is a kickass heel and makes me want to root for him. Having his father there is perfect.

I was mainly watching the cowboys beat them jags.. (how bout them cowboys?) But i would flip to smackdown every now and then.. Saw Christian, MnM, Orton so im happy.. But what is up with Mr.Kennedy? he seemed pretty goon in the ring, but why does he say his last name twice? anyone know?

Because he's an egomaniac? I actually thought Smackdown was good this week, although I wonder why they had Batista wrestle Simon Dean. Orton-Mysterio was good and it was very entertaining to watch Benoit destory Orlando Jordan again.

It is just a thing some boxing announcers do. The UFC guy use to do it too but I think he stopped. The UFC announcer is that Ready to rumble guy's brother.

Quite a few posters on here that are wrestling fans watch Raw but not Smackdown. That seems kind of strange to me, but WWE have been making Smackdown look the number 2 show for so long now that it's no longer surprising.

Pros
- OJ strarting strong out of the gate against Benoit (I'm an OJ fan)
- Benoit beating his time from Summerslam (Benoit fan too)
- Mr. Kennedy's a riot and a damn good wrestler.
- Paul Burchill's a beast, and Regal is the heel I know and love, even wearing the Union Jack colors.
- Simon Dean's promo and Batista's response (That was really creative).
- Eddie Gurrero's promo.

Cons
- Booker T getting beaten by a new guy.
- Taker no show
- That awful main event which helped no one. Ohh Orton beat a 5'5 foot man about the size of a desk lamp good for you. On the other end of the spectrum, Rey now will look weak against Eddie next week.
- Speaking of next week, they are re-doing all the matches at Summerslam with diffrent stips, am I the only one bothered by this?
- Sylvan (spelled Sill-vaughn)? Well it's offical, all the mebers of La Resistance either have crappy gimmicks or look rediculus.
