You all have noticed that the WWE has been ruining championship belts lately, but have you really noticed that it has been the former WCW belts that are being ruined? The World Heavyweight Title was on the flagship Raw forever, then the draft sent it to Smackdown with Batista, who does not have too many years left in wrestling. The United States title was taken from Cena by Orlando Jordan, a man that should have never gotten above Velocity. The man has basically no talent, no charisma, no character. I just love it when people compare him and JBL to Debiase and Virgil. Are the World Tag Team Titles from WCW? If they are, this next part will make sense with the topic. The World Tag Team Titles belonging to Hurricane and Rosey. Wow. The only thing that these guys had going for them was having Stacy enter the ring during their intro. That's it. I mean, they got beat up by Tyson Tomko of all people. What WWE really should have done is have the Tag Champs wrestle the guys that Big Show faced. That is what the WWE Tag Champs Animal and Heidenrich are doing on Smackdown.

The world tag team title belts are the original WWE tag belts, the only changed the name so they would match the world title belt. The current WWE Tag Team titles were created in a tournament.

Ok..Those tag titles on RAW are the real WWF/E tag titles..just like the poster before me mentioned.

The WCW tag titles were unified with the WWF/E titles during the Invasion angle and no longer exist. Who unified them? I'm not sure, Crock prolly knows this.

The U.S. Title was also unified with the I.C. Title, which was then unified with the European and Harcore championships.

Stephanie was allowed to create another set of tag titles because SD! was a seperate WWE brand and the Tag Titles were hardly undisputed on RAW..

The U.S. Title which is the equivilent to that I.C. Title was allowed to come back on the SD! brand for the same reason, because the I.C. Title isn't really an undisputed mid-card championship..

You know the story with the World Title and WWE Title with Lesnar leaving, and Triple H beating Undertaker in a # 1 Contenders match..

And the Cruiserweight Title was unified with the WWE Light Heavyweight Title and the LHW Title no longer exists.

Is everyone clear on this?

Although X-Pac beat Tajiri to have both belts technically they were never unified, the LH title was just abandened.

As far as who the teams were, the Dudley Boyz(WCW champs) beat the Hardy Boyz(WWF/E champs) in a steel cage match at Survivor Series 2001.

That was the match that caused the first Hardy's split wasn't it? I think jeff tried to do a Swanton through a table but one the Dudley moved when matt was on the outside.

I don't think it was, it wasn't untill the following August when Matt turned on Jeff because I think he was upset over the lack of respect he was getting.

Yeah i think that was the second split though. I could bet my mortgage that they split temporarily before reforming again.
