Rep Power: 85 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sting in WWE I was just thinking to myself...Sting was never in WWE. That's kind of weird if you think about it. You'd think somewhere along the way he would have made at least a little stint in the company. He might be the most popular wrestler who has never wrestled in WWE.. So..have you guys ever thought about what it'd be like, if Sting was ever in WWE? You think he would have done well? Won the title? Do you think a wrestler has to wrestle in WWE at some point in their career to be a real legend?

I do think that if he came to WWE in the early '90s he would have been one of the most popular wrestlers in the company, although he would have left before the attitude era because of his strong christian beliefs. |

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | WWE/F probably would've screwed him up. WCW always had a lot of faith in Sting and understood his worth. I'm not sure WWE/F would. Of course, that's not to say WCW was great with him. They mishandled him all to hell. But I can't imagine WWF placing Sting in the same category as Bret Hart, HBK, or Austin. I think he would've been a floater in the Main Event, taking the title every once in a while, but nothing too dominant. |

The only time I ever really liked Sting was when he was the Crow character. Once he started doing mic spots as that character and going "woooooo" all the time it kind of killed that dark, mysterious side to me, even though he was still dressed that way. I think if he had come into WWE it would have probably been in the early/mid 90's which was a pretty crap period for Vince. Sting would have probably been back in WCW within a year or two (like Luger). Vince never seems to really do well with other organisations creations. The one feud I'd have loved to have seen would have been Undertaker-Crow/Sting. That could have been awesome.

He had a nice combination of power & agility...I think the main reason why some don't look at Sting as a legend is because he was always a NWA/WCW talent. That's why I asked. I agree, Undertaker vs. Dark Sting..that would've been Cooool!

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Since WWE is currently a little stale, should he come in now, he would prolly have pretty much creative control within reason with his character, so that would be good, I always liked Sting.

Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() | A lot of people aren't going to have a clue who he is because he never gets mentioned when referring to other legends. He should be brought in for a bit just so they can show his past. |
