what I would really like to see upon his return would be to bring back the lion tamer. that is a killer move compared to the walls of jericho. its just a boston crab. it has been said that the vertical base was too painful on his opponent, but it looked a lot cooler.

I think it's great that Jericho is being given some well-deserved time off. He hasn't missed any significant amount of time since joining WWE 6 years ago, so I'd say he's long overdue for a vacation. He was great in his new heel role, but overall his character had lost a lot steam in the last 2 years. Plus, it's cool of WWE to allow him to explore other interests, not just with Fozzy, but also some acting gigs (possibly) too.

He could be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble and then return full-time to SD! since he was fired by Bischoff, Teddy Long could sign him as a free agent. That's when I would expect him back.

^^^ He actually started the brand split on the Smackdown roster, but has been on Raw for quite some time now.

Jericho can have some time off and when he returns he will be the ultimate face by default because the fans will miss him.
