What are peoples opinions of the Mexicools attacking Christian? Are we about to see a Christian face turn?

Hmm..I was thinking about this when I was watching it, but then I figuered maybe it was just to piss off the Canadian crowd. I think Christian would be good as a face, but to me he has all the tools right now he needs to succeed as a heel.

I just don't understand WWE's thinking on this. Why even trade him then if you aren't going to push him on SD! ? At least on RAW we had some funny backstage promos between him and Jericho, on SD! he's done absolute nothing. I mean, OJ has been getting more air time for christ sake, OJ has a damn match on the PPV and I'm not even sure if the CLB will make an appearance, it's nuts.

I don't think we will see a face turn, the Mexicools have attacked both faces and heels so far and since they were in Toronto the WWE knew this would piss off the fans.

I think if Christian kept his character as it is but went face, he'd be huge. Absol-freakin'-lutely huge.

I think the only reason they had the Mexitools attack Christian is that up here in Toronto he was being treated like a face, therefore they had to get some type of heel heat on him. I thought he was being raped personally. But, if they do turn him face it'll work in the short run, however he makes a better heel. And as a heel they could feud him with Benoit for the US title. Who knows, but not surprised if they drop the ball again with him.

Dropped the ball again? They never have picked up the ball. They looked like they were about to pick it up with fueds against HBK and HHH/Flair, but they never had the fortitude to pick up the ball and run with it. All he needs is that one breakout chance, and he will be a star.

Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Broaden your horizons people!!!

I thought it made Chrisitian look weak IMO. There was no reason for the Mexicools to do a run-in during the Peep Show. I don't see Chrisitian as a World Champion, but I do think he deserves a spot in the upper midcard and shouldn't be getting triple teamed and beaten down by cruiserweights.

I think a Christian-Benoit feud for the U.S. Title would be great. They'd have some great matches and Chrisitian could carry Benoit through some good promos to build up the matches. I'd have Benoit win the first encounter then have Christian win the rematch and then hold the U.S. Title for a few months.
