Am I the only one who thinks he sucks on the mic? I really do think he is horrible. It's not that I have anything against the dude, It's just when he starts talking I start laughing.

He does that lil laugh thing after everything he says. Says stuff like your nothing but a bully! At first I thought he just needed some more time on the mic, like orton and then he will get better.. But still he hasent gotten any better.


Does anyone else see this? Do you guys think he is good on the mic?

He was WAYYY better on the mic when he was on Raw facing HHH. He sounded intense at times and at other times he was mello.

Now on Smackdown he's gotten a little corney on the mic. He always makes these jokes that arent funny or the names he called people dont accually hurt peoples feelings.

It's funny when i first read the title I thought i was actually going to be Batista singing karaoke or something...I was disappointed.

In response to the question however, the thing that got him over (on the mic and in general) was his laid back confident approach. I think now he's gone over the top and is trying to go the route of most heel gone faces in the fact that he's applying too much comedy. And with that i mean, not overly funny comedy. (Austin, Rock and Foley were face champs that could bring the good funnies) I still like the guy, but I want to see him in an intense fued again, maybe Orton after Summerslam?

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Man, i think Batista rocks on the mic! Did you see SD! last night? It was hilarious! In a funny voice to Christian he says, "Are you talking to me?" and in a high girly voice says, "You...you need an attitude adjustment!" HAHAHA, man that was hilarious...and the big Dave Bastista shake during his entrance was the best one he's done EVER...

I think Batista funny on the mic, although SD wasn't his best.

On a side note, am I the only one who prefers his old music?

Agreed with the original post. His cool character seemed good pre Wrestlemania but it seems to have become very old very quick. Just laughing at opponents, looking ****y and wearing sunglasses isn't enough. It hasn't helped him either that the cool comic lines he's been given so far are woeful.

From my personal point of view it hasn't helped him that I got bored with the Hunter feud very quickly post Mania and he's now stuck in what'll be a two month feud with JBL.
