How do you book Christian?

Whether you think Christian has the "it" factor or not to be a main eventer, you'd have to agree that they way he's been booked on SD! since arriving there has been a joke. They gave him The Peep Show, which is good because it can put Christian's excellent mic skills on display. However, he's been losing to people like Booker T. Booker really doesn't have much of a future left so I think that was a dumb move. Christian NEVER gets a big win. You can say what you want about him facing Batista, I don't think those two should even be fighting at this point.

So how would you book Christian? especially if you don't think he's a main eventer, how do you get the most value out of him..

Maybe they can try giving him a new look or turn him face and see what happens.

I def would have him dominating the upper-mid cards, US title and give him a series of classic matches to get the fans behind him. I would love to see him in a few ladder matches with Eddie or Benoit. Or maybe have a good fued with Orton.

As for the look i would give him the traditional trunks and shed the E&C look.

I agree that he is the man to bring interest to the useless US title. He could just 'Flair' it, have great matches and either get DQ'd or cheat to win for a long stretch, with feuds with Benoit and other solid mid card guys. Then ppl will want to pay to see him lose it.

As seems to be the common theme, I would book at the moment as the US Champion. Give him a good run with some clean wins to boost his credibility and then after Mania next year, have him take on the new face champion (as it usually is after Mania)

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Right now I'd turn him face first of all without a doubt and then also give him the US title. Have him have a great run with it up until early next year. Then have him lose it to someone anybody really, but have him get screwed out of the title or at least look strong losing. After that i'm not sure... i'd like to see him have a run with the world title one day. The best way i can think of is if it were to happen this year it should be at mania... and basically have a story similar to what they did with HBK and Bret hart before the Iron man match... have both Christian and whoever he's face show them training hard showing respect to each other a lot. Mix it up with what they did with beniot saying nobody believes Christian would make it to the main event and win the title. Or even have him have a number one contender shot at maina this year... then face the champ at backlash... but Lose the match and spend a year being built up maybe still with the US title even and then use this for the next mania.

I wish it was possible to make Christian a big star in 6 months but I'm afraid that it would take longer than that. I really think WWE would have to start building him now and it would probably take until next year's SummerSlam for him to be fully established.

Yes..I believe he has main event potential, but he can't just all of a sudden start winning and getting forced down out throats and main event Wrestlemania. The thing we have to remember about HBK and Benoit is that they were really big stars before they won the title. Benoit won something like 8 PPV matches in a row at one point, he made people like Lesnar tap out, he had many competitive matches with the likes of HHH, The Rock, and Kurt Angle. And HBK had a huge match with Razor Ramon at WMX followed by a main event vs. Diesel the next year, and then he finally won the big one.

For Christian to gain main event credibility with staying power, I think it's going to take a whole year of him progressing. He needs to pick up small wins, continue to shine in promos, carry the U.S. Title for a while, turn into a "cool" heel that gets to say funny lines about main event faces without much regret.

God, WWE has almost ruined this guy's career. But they still have time. Lets hope they do something quick, and start the build now. ASAP.

thats true i'd rather wait and see him win it later, the longer the build up the better the champion. But knowing the WWE if they decide they want him to have the title he'll lose to Booker T a few more times and then win the title. But I heard he's been facing Orlando on house shows recently so i hope they give him the US title and give him a huge run with it right till mania or longer.

I think you are right Blitz, right now there is no way he could be taken serious as a main eventer as he has barely even won any matches in the last 6 months and none were against serious opponents(other than a victory against Booker T a few weeks ago).

To book Christian right, they have to take a page out of "the right way to book Batista". You have to make Christian look serious, and not as a joke. He has to always be one step ahead of Batista, and let him get the advantage in the end. Be smart but remain calm. Christain cant lose his temper, or else no one will take him as a threat to the world title.

Have Christian cheat his wayto the top , but doing it so he doesnt look too shitty or weak..A programme with Benoit would be best because Benoit already had his short run as champ, and the guy desperately needs a good fued/storyline cuz he is getting stale.....
