So am I the only one pumped about the return of Rob Van Dam, I don't know why as I've never been a big mark, butI'm just excited, he is gonna add to a strong intercontinental division, or he could even be a main event babyface.

The thing is though, he is stale as hell, or at least he was on Smackdown. What I want are some scenarios or ideas on what could be done to make RVD a bonafied maineventer on Raw

Including feuds, look, attitude, etc

I think he should portray the same character he was at One Night Stand: a pissed-off guy who feels like he's been held back, and just can't take it anymore. Not a whiny heel, mind you. Just a guy who represents the wrestlers who've been held down by management.

And in case it's a little too "inside" you could have Bischoff and some of the top heels talk about how RVD will never be championship material, he couldn't even be world champion in ECW, Bischoff could refuse to give him title shots. Basically, hold him down on camera just as he's been held down off-camera. If need be, have them ban the 5-star frog splash, as an example of him being held down

I am not even giving it any thought until I see him and see how he is. Otherwise I don't care when he returns.

I hope it goes well for him, but I don't have any confidence in WWE continuing to book him as well as he was at ONS (was that booking? a shoot?). We'll see.

I like the guy, always have, but am I the only one who thinks he's closer to getting fired than he is to getting a push?

I really think WWE is going to release him soon.

On one hand, I would like to think they (WWE) would follow up on the momentum he had coming off the ECW ONS, but look what they did with ECW. Nothing.
