An Idea for Bret

So I was doing that budget cuts thing a couple minutes ago and it got me thinking.
I hate the coach as an announcer, he is great backstage and interacting with wrestlers but I hate him as an announcer.
I hate Lawler as an announcer, dude is so far past his prime it's rediculous

They need someone new, so why not Bret?
The travel schedual is much more relaxed then an active roster employee, the guy can't wrestle anymore due to that over hyped piece of shit Goldberg,
And he is one of if not the greatest technical wrestler of all time, and he has great charisma as well.

Just imagine listening to matches as JR over sells everything, and Bret gives a fantastic technical insight of every match, plus his attitude can reflect his personal feelings regarding the wrestlers, and the guy can toss in a story now and then.

And as Jimmy's last update reported, things went extremely well at WWE headquarters

to sum it all up, Bret and JR as the Raw Broadcast team would be fucking gold.

I dunno about an announcer, but I'd love it if he were a manager. He could be the mouthpiece for some younger talent and maybe even a stable. He could probably work just the TV tapings doing that role, and the occasional house show.

Someone who I think would be a great colour commentator in the future is Chris Jericho.

Not in a million years would Jericho do it. There is no way he would sit still for 2 hrs and talk or call matches. The guy is a wrestler and has a band. There is just no way he would be good at it because he would be miserable doing it.

Had no idea you knew him so well lol. He would be awesome at it and has always been fantastic at putting over others strengths on the mic instead of just putting himself over. We'll see how his band is doing when his career is done I guess.

From hearing interviews he has done in the past, I am basing it on the things that he has said regarding to his passion for his band and his music and how he talked about it more than he did wrestling. Not to mention he can be in a band a lot longer than he can be in wrestling and seeing how he is a been injury free for so long he could prolly wrestle another 15 years if he wanted.

I was just thinking when his wrestling and rock career are over. I doubt he'd still be rockin out joints at 45-50 years old.

Back on the Bret topic, even though he and WWE are back on good terms (or so it appears) I still doube he'll be back in an active role. Maybe just to promote his DVD and Book when it comes out.

Bret being a the manager for a pure wrestling stable would sweet, like a tweener 4 horsemen, but they would be face by default with Bret there. Benoit and Christian come to mind, oh and of course it has to be all Canadians. That country just cranks out great rasslers.
