Rep Power: 17 ![]() | Tatanka This overweight 90's star is said to be back full time. It's cool to see him back but what can he offer at this point? I wouldn't even consider putting a belt on any former star because it makes the current stars look weak. WWE doesn't think so because they went and put a tag belt on Animal. Today's superstars must be ticked to have to job to (or share airtime with)past stars who still want some spotlight.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I dont' think he's back. I thought there were just posers on his forums pretending to be him and saying he was back. Well, the tag-team division on smackdown is dead anyway, so I have no beef with hawk and heidenriech having the belts. I think the old wrasslers can be effectively used when used sparingly and make surprise appearances. They shouldnt' really be title holders, but they can be used to put over new talent. |
| Thanks for the memories Eddie! | |

Rep Power: 17 ![]() | You must mean Animal, not Hawk. I just checked it out and Tatanka says he's in discussions with WWE for a contract. So I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. I think one-offs are the way to go with these old guys. Just like Godfather at Vengenance. I'm not sure why they have Animal in a full time role. When the LOD had a match with RVD & Kane back in February 2003 WWE was said to be not impressed with them. That's probably because they were 20 years past their prime then. Seriously, what's next? Bob Backlund vs The Shiek, Part 2?

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I talked to Chavis today. There is no deal with WWE, but he's talked to a couple of people in the office since Raw on Monday, and he's hoping for a contract offer and so he's being very careful about ruffling any feathers. He's not giving any interviews or talking to anybody publicly about WWE (aside from the occasional post on his message board) until he knows one way or the other what the deal is. Personally, I don't expect that WWE will offer him a deal, but then you never know with that company. |

Could be possible they'd use him for some of their "Legends" DVD's or they could sign him and send him to one of the developmental territories ala Marty Jannetty, Gangrel to work with the younger guys there. I'd be very surprised if he was offered a spot on either the RAW or Smackdown! main roster.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | He sucked when he was in shape, his best match ever was vs. HBK at WM9, I wonder why that would be, Michaels calling the match perhaps? Always hated him.

The best thing Tatanka ever did to me was turning on Lex Luger..I hated the Lex Express more than anything. Back to topic though, I really would doubt that WWE would give Tatanka a deal to wrestle..What would they do with him? It doesn't make sense, therefore, I can't see it happeing. However, it is the WWE and stranger things have happend..like them hiring back Vis for one.
