Okay, so it has become glaringly abvious that Smackdown currently in one of its worst states ever. You have the Rey/Eddy Whos the daddy angle, you have an old guy who needs to go work out a bit and complete waste of air as tag champs, they just lost one of their potential breakout stars due to stupid writing decisions, Benoit is getting buried, and we are in the midst of one of the worst main event programs in history. The only bright spot is Orton vs. Undertaker. All this crap is seemingly the work of horrible writers screwing with a product they have no clue about. So heres the question. When do Vince, the front office people, the wrestlers and the fans get so fed up they begin calling for heads. The fans already have, so I guess when does Vince finally get the message, and when do the wrestlers begin to speak up and finally do something about the ruining of the product. Smackdown will be dead by the end of the year if it keeps its current course. Do they just cancel the show? or do they finally have purge of the writing team and fix the show?

I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Broaden your horizons people!!!

I think Smackdown's day's are numbered. Vince just doesn't see. He has all ready did what he thought would save it and that was hiring a bunch of new writers and as I understand he hired some recently. The show is history, it could be saved but it won't. They won't do the right thing.

When the ratings drop of and attendance suffers and it stops making them any kind of money. I have been thinking, wrestling is the only show ever to even think about catering to the fans. Most shows if they suck, just get cancelled. Over all wrestling fans are spoiled and somehow think they deserve to be given what they want lol. People forget it is a businee and like ANY business things have to do done properly. I am not going to pretend to know what Vince is thinking but maybe he is coming up with a plan or has plans that we don't know about yet. Either way, it is just a TV show and if ratings start to drop off to the point where it no longer makes a a profit, it will be canned. I really is just that simple.

It hurts my brain to even think that this has been in the works for MONTHS and somehow managed to make its way on TV. How could NO ONE have said ANYTHING about this being RETARDED! What the hell is wrong with them? Are they trying to get low rating on purpose to UPN will cancel them? Maybe Vince wants out sooner than later?

You know the writers (and Vince too since he employed them) are doing a bad job when you keep coming on here and thinking, some of the guys on here have much better ideas than they do, not even like one week ideas that you find anywhere but some of you have put such well thought out weeks long ideas together that are so cool just on the basis that you actually are wrestling fans and you "get it". The writers there now don't have a freakin' clue.

Maybe Vince just doesn't give a shit anymore. I mean, you don't see this horrible kind of writing going on on RAW right now. I'm not saying RAW is perfect but it's a million times better than SD! is. I think the fact that SD! is being moved into the "death slot" on Fridays and will get prempted by baseball games as well has basically pissed Vince off to the point where he doesn't give a shit. Then UPN tells WWE to get Hassan off TV and Vince has just had enough. He's buying time until the move to USA and then I think you'll see something different. Possibly a recombining of the rosters.

If I was Vince, and I know you guys don't want to hear this because it'd put a lot of people out of work, but if I was Vince I'd fire half the roster, recombine the rosters, and make SD! a Heat or Velocity type of show until the contract runs out.

And yes, the SD! writers are fucking dumb.

Yes the writers suck but ultimately, the blame has to lie with Vince. Afterall, he's the man in charge as has final say over all storylines and angles, so obviously he's giving this crap the thumbs up or else it wouldn't be on TV. It's too bad because Smackdown! actually has a pretty decent roster and when Orton comes back full-time (which is soon) and Brock returns (could also be soon), they are in good shape as far as the main event scene is concerned. Unfortunately though, you can have the best performers and workers in the world but if they're given crap to work with, then crap is what you're going to get.

As a wrestling fan, I want SD! to stay and think the show has the potential to be as good, if not better, than RAW, if we could get some competent people writing the show. Where's Heyman when you need him? Oh yeah, he's in OVW b/c Cornette got canned. Well, unless Vince finds somebody else to replace these horrid writers, looks like we're stuck with crap on SD!

They better bring Brock back and have him do his return on Raw. If it is on SD! there is no way I will be able to aviod any spoiler leak if that happens. Not to mention it will suck if not done live.
