Rep Power: 85 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | HBK/Hogan: "I'm not laying down" This feud is interesting to me now..it feels more like a shork from the HBK end...I think what HBK was saying in his promo this past week had not only some truth to it, but I think HBK really believed a lot of what he was saying.. He played the heel role a lot more convincing now that he's not talking about, he wanted to be in Hogan's last match.. Finally it's taken a different turn..a turn that should have been brought out from the start. HBK does work his ass off and try to put on 5 star matches every time he works, and hogan does just take it easy if you will...and I'm not just talking about recently...I'm talking about his whole career..Maybe he didn't have the ability of a Shawn Michaels but I never felt lie he had the effort of a Shawn Michaels either.. Of course, that's not what Hulkamania was about, and that's not what the fans of that era really cared about..The matches came second to Hogan and the Hulkamaniacs.. This is why a guy lik Steveo respects Flair so much more than the Hulkster and likes to discuss the old NWA instead of the old school WWF.. I can't take away anything Hogan has done for the world of wrestling though, and I'm not trying to.. But my question I guess would be...Who goes over on the PPV? And who should go over on the PPV? In the end it won't hurt either man's career..but that's not my point.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I have a feeling Hogan is gonna win this one. As much as he shouldn't, they will have him go over. But really in the end the out come of this match makes no difference to either man's career.
| Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Broaden your horizons people!!! | ||

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | This is not Mania, and Stone Cold John Cena will retain, so theres your big face win. A part time attraction like Hogan should not go over a regular worker like HBK, unless HBK was going full time heel, which I tend to doubt. I just can't picture, HBK getting that baffled look when Hogan hulks up, then throw useless punches at him until, 3 punches, boot, legdrop, 123. Plus it looks terrible for him to kick out of the Angle Slam, Pedigree and pretty much every other finisher, then go down to a lame ass legdrop from a guy slower than Nash. I'll be the black sheep and say that HBK should and will go over at Summerslam. In any scenario, HBK takes 80% of the bumps, Hogan is always on offense. This is my current best guess. Both will have to kick out of each others finishers once, when Hogan goes for legdrop #2, we get a kip up, followed by Superkick 2 and Hogan stares at the lights. Hand shake, game over. Everyone's happy.

Because Hogan needs to rest up for a couple months before his match with Austin that I assume will take place at Mania with the amount of talk they have both been doing about it since the Hall of Fame ceremony
