Rep Power: 37 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How Would You Change Hassan? This is from wwe.com.......... WWE Statement Concerning Muhammad Hassan Due to the unfortunate terrorist attacks in London on Thursday, July 7, which coincided with our pre-produced WWE SmackDown! program, UPN has asked us to be sensitive to the usage of the Arab-American character, Muhammad Hassan. We have agreed with UPN, and have not had the character on SmackDown! since that date. It is uncertain as to whether or not the WWE will continue with this character beyond this Sunday’s Pay-Per-View, The Great American Bash. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay so if WWE does pull the plug on Hassan's Arab American character, how would you re package Hassan and Davari?

His current gimmick suits him down to a t. The easiest option would be to trade him back to RAW. But I doubt that that would ease the critics of his character.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Don't stop it at all let it run the last patriot being turned on by everyone? Even his own company? It can't get any better, do updates on Smackdown! and hype his promos on WWE.com as too hot for TV and you got a winner. Eventually when it all blows over let him make his return and put him in as US title program or program him with Batista depending on what they decide to do on Sunday. But they cannot under any circumstances kill the character off, not when it is this strong. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well, according to Dave Meltzer, WWE is dropping the Hassan character, meaning he won't be moving back over to RAW. As far as re-packaging, I posted this over in N&R board, but basically, it's going to be a tough thing to do. Both guys are now recognizable by the fans so either he's going to have to stay off TV for a long time or wrestle under a mask or something. I feel bad for the wrestlers who portrayed the gimmick, but WWE deserves this punishment for having the stupidity to air the angle in the beginning. So much for Hassan's title shot. Looks like either Batista-JBL or Batista-Eddie at SummerSlam. |
