Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Your Greatest WWE Moments Well? Any particular 'mark out' moments or enjoyable moments you have from WWE? 2 that immediately spring to mind are Eddie Guerrero's title win, and Paul Heyman's promo when ECW invaded WWF. The Eddie one, firstly because I never thought WWE would put the strap on him despite him obviously deserving it, and it was over Lesnar, and it was a fantastic match. And Eddie is my joint favourite wrestler ever. Heyman's promo was just fantastic. At the time, WWE hadn't completely made a hash of the invasion, and ECW in the mixer too just rang of brilliance. The promo was intense, he had his ECW alumni surrounding him.. and he finished with one of my favourite lines in promo history - "This invasion, just got taken, to theeee.. EXXXXTREEEEMMMEEEEEEEE!" |

I remember jumping up and dancing around the room while watching that, I was so pleased. I didn't think they'd put the belt on Eddie I thought Brock was a dead cert to win. Also ECW One Night Stand with Paul E's promo.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I'll tell ya, this may not come to mind for alot of people, but Me and my brother literally jumped out of our sets and screamed when Lex Luger made Hogan submit in the torture rack to win the world title. Hogan won it back like 4 days later at the PPV but for some reason that title win was amazing. I have to give Sting the nod for doing the same thing at Starcade '97. Of course seeing Savage/Steamboat match when I was young set the pattern for me of what a wrestling match should be, it changed my whole perception of the sport. Hogan bodyslamming Andre-probably the single biggest moment in the history of wrestling.
| Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Rep Power: 20 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think my favourite moment was Chris Benoit making HHH tap out for the World's Title at Wrestlemania XX. When they added HBK to the match, I was so sure that HHH was going to avoid doing the job. When he was locked in the crossface I just sat screaming 'Tap, you Son of a Bitch' at the TV. I think i woke my mother up at about 5 a.m. And I know I got emotional when HHH retired Foley. There's nothing quite like a one-man standing ovation in your living room. | |
