| I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking. | |||

It is my earliest wrestling memory. The Hulk Hogan/ Randy Savage WWF Feud - I still think that is the best feud ever in WWE history. Hogan vs Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania - A true classic. The Rock vs Hogan at Wrestlemania - The wrestling was sub par as expected. But it proved that at the end of the day the fans are the ones who make matches legendary. Chris Benoit winning the world title - It was Chris Benoit, as the world champion. Enought said. Tough Enough - Say what you will about it. It certinally didn't end up changing the face of WWE (unless Johny Nitro has a main evnet push in his future. And I doubt it.) but it is still the best reality show ever, and this is from a big fan of reality shows, and I think WWE made a huge mistake letting it die. Prime Time Wrestling with Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon - I loved that show as a kid. Hennan and Monsoon were brilliant in their banter and it was the only WWE program where you had a good shot of at least a couple non-jobber squashes. The Benoit and Jerrico vs Austin feud. - Seeing my two favorites allied against the biggest star in the WWE at the time (who I had no problem booing as I hate him.) was awesome to watch. Jerrico's WWE title reign - He may not have had a great reign looking at the feuds that resulted and the way he was booked as a champion. But I still loved that Jerrico's win was a legitimate surprise and he stated the champion for four months and got to defend the belt at Wrestlemania. Attending the Smackdown taping where Hogan and Triple H tied in the battle royal and then went on to face each other for a shot at Taker's title. - The show itself isn't a classic but from top to bottom it is still the most memorable and entertaining night I remember having at the 20 or so WWE shows I have attended live. |

I just love how this whole thing panned out, it didnt serve the best main event PPV matches but suspense/whats gona happen next? hell yeah.... Mankind was also thrown into the fray, and this gave us two Hell in a cell raw main events, which at the time was a great thing, since then- that type of match has appeared ALOT more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, ECW ONE NITE STAND, It was truely an amazing PPV to see live on television for me, the atmosphere and how it seemed to never have changed or gone away, the quality of some of the matches , the fans chants and interactions and of course.....THAT shoot promo.....very enjoyable and I highly doubt WWE could put something of this quality out on PPV. |
