I don't mind it..but what, Trish is coming back as a face? I guess, but I like her a lot more in the heel character she plays..

Anyway, I still don't see how this goes past SS...You guys really want to see these two fight more than once? It won't be the same the second time around.

I totally agree. I wonder when that happens will it be hard to sell him as a character though or even if WWE has him signed for that long?

I think it shouldn't be done more than once...for a while. Matt should win by damn near killing Edge thus keeping him away for awhile, and the same would hold true for Lita as she would realize the effects of her transgressions. From there with Lita you can go a variety of ways maybe she seeks redemption or maybe she falls further into this slut character. I would personally have her become a manic depressive bring Trish back to bust on her (thus, maintaining Trish as a heel) but have it have no effect as she doesn't care anymore.

Do that long enough untill she can garner up enough sympathy to be a face again then put her in a situation where she can hurt because of disillusioned outlook (i.e. in the ring with Snitsky) have Matt save and then finally they makeup.

That's when you bring Edge back as a pyscho sonofabitch who has lost everything and now wants to break them up again, that is a scenario where I'd want to see them fight again. But it has to come full-circle, because otherwise once Matt wins the story is over, because with the writers now there is no character development.

But if played right this could be dragged out to WM, with the roles reversed this time it would be Edge who has nothing to lose and Matt who is trying to fight off a starved madman. Instead we will get them fighting in gimmick matches for the next three to four months and then the issue is dead.

That's the best damn idea I've heard so far in this thread. It makes total sense for them to keep these 3 away from each other for a few months after SummerSlam because at SS the match is fresh..and we don't want to see overkill.

Only problem..is that I don't see WWE being that patient or that worried about the future of these 3. WWE is only in this to make money now, and I doubt they are thinking future. They'll have the match at SS, and then we'll have to sit through 3 or 4 other matches between these two, and then Edge will get into the title picture because of the Money in the Bank and Hardy will go back to mid-card hell where he left off, unless they just rid themselves of Hardy once and for all.

yeah i know that when matt went to raw his career was going no where fast. and when he was on smackdown thats when he was at his best. Matt has even said that he had asked to be moved to Raw so he could be with lita knowing that it could be a career killer. And I said Matt is a money maker cause yes this fued can make a lot of money but also I forget where I heard this but something about how much stuff matt ardy has sold. More then people think. Just think back durring the hardy days and think bacl to all the v.1 hands and shirts and everything.

okay so this is just a thought that has poped into my head.
Paul Heyman makes a suprise appearance on RAW. he is about to speak when Bich comes out and calls security. Heyman says eric should be nice to him because he can get him the hottest free agent out there, who he is now managing. Eric suddenly buddies up to Heyman with the thought it's Lesner as Heyman would imply. Bisch asks what he would need, Heyman says just to hand him a contract and he will deliver a signature.

Perhaps wait a week and Paul Heyman is brought out to introduce his client "Matt Freakin Hardy" Crowd pops, Bischoff is pissed, Hardy is in WWE.

Then we play out the fued and perhaps form a stable around Heyman with HArdy, RvD and whoever else fits.
