I was waiting for this topic to come up so I could make my next point.

You want it to move on for what reason? So that Eddie and Rey can be tossed into some meaningless boring non feud and just be 2 guys who have a match every week with no real purpose? Let it continue. At least they have a reason to still have a job and are being used. After this is over, a moth or so later people will be complaining that they are not being used and the writing team sucks for not doing anything with them.

One of my co-workers isnt a huge wreslting fan, he's probably a little bit less than a "casual fan", but he tunes in occasionally. He said this to us during breakfast this morning

"You know, I watch about 15 minutes of Smackdown a week, and every time I've turned it on for the last three months, it's been Rey and Eddie"

And Ida, you're right, if the feud ended, they would probably become two guys with nothing to do. But thats just shitty writing. i mean, I'm sure any of us could come up with something interesting for them to do. And I'm not being sarcastic, I really mean that.

For instance, considering that Eddie is now a heel, and Chris Benoit is one of SD's new faces, why not build on their match from the ECW PPV and have them two feud?

Also, Rey is one of the only faces on SD that JBL hasnt feuded with. Their contrast in styles could work well. Or Rey could challenge Paul London in a face vs. face feud. They could put on some great matches

Like I said, those two guys are so talented, it would be easy to find things for them to do. But, the question is, would the writers be able to pull it off?

I'm not a fan of this feud but, regardless of what we all think, it'll probably persist until Summerslam now.

Newho, the thing that saves this fued for me is Eddie. He is an awesome actor and he has certainly brought his A game to this fued. In the ring, we are guaranteed greatness, so I have no problems with it continuing

i hope this fued ends quick and in a hurry. Yes the wwe write team does suck, and after this is all done with i doubt eaither men will be in a real high profile fued for a lil while. But they will find something for them. They wont be like booker T. I would love to see Rey vs. Christian. or Rey vs. London. And Eddie vs.Benoit. Or maybe even a big story with the mexicools coming in during one of eddies matches or promos and eddie looking like he is upset, and have a big spinoff where everybody thinks eddie is going to turn face and beat them up and help (someone in the ring) actually join them and be there big time leader. who knows. Im just ready for this to end. PLEASE end
