Maybe it is just something stupid like he is a bastard or something Rey did that would shame him in his sons eyes. But they keep hinting that Eddie is the father one week and something else the next. And why doesn't Eddie's wife know? Why wouldn't she want to know? Why didn't she ask him before this? Why don't heels wives come out when they do other stupid shit and try to stop them? etc etc etc.......

All good questions..I think Rey couldn't knock up his wife, so Eddie did it for him, and now Rey doesn't want Dominic to know that he's a failure in the bedroom..and that Eddie is quote, "The bigger man"..

But why wouldn't Eddie tell his wife and wouldn't he be in just as much trouble keeping something liek that a secret from his wife and kids?

That's what I keep thinking too, damn if I can work it out. Hopefully the WWE writers had one of their good days when they came up with the curve.

I watch SD, I'm getting annoyed that we saw Eddie w/ the kid 3 weeks ago, and for the last 2 weeks they have completely retold the story for about 15 minutes each time. I can't take much more of the retelling- hopefully it'll only be one more week.
I think they put on good matches that are entertaining, though I am ready to see Eddie get the win fo sure. like I said, I really enjoyed the MNM match from last week

I have a feeling this will end with like a ladder match or cage match at Summerslam. The story line is stupid. Is it just me or have the worst angles been happening on Smackdown this year?

Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Man...I LOVE Eddie's new character! It's so damn hilarious...I hope Uncle Eddie wins against Rey Rey at The Great American Bash...so we all can finally know the secret! As long as the secret isn't lame, I'll be happy...so what if the storyline has dragged on...as long as it is entertaining and good matches can be pulled off...

Well it seems that Rey himself proposed this storyline so we cant rag on the writers for a change.


I also seem to remember that this board held the majority view that in this age of monthly PPVs angles are started and are over too quickly.. looks like that has gone out of the window here.

It actually makes sense for a change for people to have long feuds.. when eddie and rey hate each other as much as they are supposed to.. and with such high stakes involved.. you think one or two matches are going to be enough to settle it?

I will quite happily sit through, and pay for another Eddie/Rey match.

In an era when HHH and JBL can lose countless matches and number one contender matches and STILL have a place in the main event for no obvious reason. its actually nice to have a feud that is ongoing and has some sort of direction for a change.

Eddie and Rey rarely fail to disappoint in the ring whenever they go at it.. I cant see the problem here.

Its either this or as Al said.. It will be Eddie vs a Basham Brother at SD next week and REY vs a guy from MNM.

At least the guys have direction.. at least they arent having a match because a Corrupt GM said so.

Their match at the PPV wasn't that great and it would have been a good feud if it went anywhere other than the ovbious. It was all one sided and the ending was very predictable.
