Rep Power: 6 ![]() | What Cruserwight Division? Don't get me wrong, even when the WWE had a great CW divison, WCW kicked the crap out of it. Now, it's terrible look what I mean: -"Kerwin White" was moved to Raw -Kidman, Jimmy Yang (who is tallented as hell), Spike and Shannon were all fired -Scotty's too bangged up and too mediocre to have another title run -It took Funaki 6,223,479,000,126,702 eons to get the CW title so I don't think he'll get it again, plus he bairly competes anymore anyway -Paul London has the title and all the worthy competiton (nameley "Kerwin", Tajiri, The Hurricane, Kidman and even Spanky would have made a great rivalry) are either canned or on Raw. -Paul London isn't very over at all -Who knows when or even if the Ultimo Dragon's coming back The CW division has been reduced to six guys counting the Mexicools, but the Mexicools are all on the same frikkin team. I apreciate the fact that Juvi, Psicosis and Super Crazy are there, but the division as a whole is not being handled well, it's pathetic, they might as well as not have one. |

He just has them go out and perform like small heavyweights which doesn't help the division look different to the normal scene. Without that it'll never draw, and without Vince wanting (and I mean really wanting) it anyway it'll also never draw. Bottom line is, you don't watch WWE if Cruiser action is your thing.

If they ever hire Sabu, I guess he could go cruiserweight as well....... I assume that once one mexicool gets the belt (Juvi likely) they'll slowly and eventually begin to fight amongst themselves over it.

Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() | See the thing is, I would rather WWE of kept their previous cruiserweights if it meant they were making way for the Mexicools. WEE always had the talent in the Cruiser division, it's just that they need to be allowed to cut loose.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well as long as the Mexicools are being pushed I doubt the CW title will dissapear. Although I give that act a few more months and WWE will lose interest in it like they do almost every "over the top" gimick. Personally while I agree it is a shame as was stated above this is nothing new. Dean Malenko got the title (well actually it was the Light Heaveyweight title. But lineage aside it is largeley the same thing.( and everyone proclaimed "Huzzah" the division is saved. Then after a brief feud with Scotty 2 Hotty they ignored it and Malenko ended up holding the belt for almost a year not beacause he was a great champion, but beacause they cared so little they never bothered to even have him defend it. Then not long after Jerry Lynn got the title on his WWE debut and we said once again "Huzzah, the division is saved." and that lasted like three weeks before he got shuffled to Jakked (which makes being shuffled to Velocity these days look like a good thing) where he was forgotten until they decided to give the belt to Jeff Hardy. Eventually they adopted the CW title for WCW and dropped the Light Heavyweight belt. But their treatment of it was not different. This pattern has pretty much always been the story of the CW division in WWE. They ignore it for months and months on end. Someone comes along that WWE decided they can build the division around. They put the title on said person, we all hope it means the cruiserweights will get a chance. Then they lose interest a few months later and the title goes back to being passed around meaninglessly and with no fanfare until the next "savior" comes around. Truth is when everyone was saying they were going to give the title more attention after Paul London won it and "finally give the cruisers a chance." I never bought it for a second. He was just the latest in a long line of "Push this guy and get the cruiserweight title over.... oh wait I forgot. We don't care. Never mind." champions. While I do respect some of the great wrestlers that have held the CW title. Sometimes I wish Vince McMahon would just throw the damn thing in a dumpster and go on a 10 minute triade about how he will never, ever care about a cruiserweight division. At least then we could all get on with our lives. lol |

Rep Power: 38 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't know if anyone else watched SD this week, but in that crappy 6 man tag of Mexicools v. London, Scotty2Hotty, and Funaki (why fire Moore, Kidman, Akio and keep Scotty??) Juvi almost broke London's head, well, eye socket. He was doing a splash where he flips in the air a few times and landed w/ his leg right on London's head. Then I was thinking, what does WWE do if their only talented CW who's not a Mexicool gets injured??

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Damn, I know I thought London has really hurt on that spot. THe Cruiser weight division is pretty much dead now. The fired most of their cruiser weights, so I don't know why they still have this title. Get rid of it, our do something to make it more of a focus on Smackdown. |
| Thanks for the memories Eddie! | |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | they should use their lack of cruisers as an angle. london could turn heel and mess with all the bigger guys like a little pest, but as soon as they challenge him he points out that theyre too big to hold the cruiser title. then he could brag about how he has no competition and whatever... then right when everyone really wants to see him get pounded bring in CM or sabu or something to take him on... |
| it's still real to me, dammit! | |
