Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Do we know anything anymore? Basically an offshoot of the Hardy thread. But come on.. what the fuck is going on? The ECW PPV with shoots galore.. JBL and Da Blue Guy have a confrontation at ONS and its all over the net, even mentioned on wwf.com.. then he turns up on SD with the bWo! A work? Im in two minds now Then we have the mass releases.. graphics of them on wwf.com... they even INTERVIEW the bastards on their releases.. an elaborate Work? Im in two minds now And now we have the whole Hardy thing.. which makes us ask was it a work all along? Im in two minds now What im trying to say is.. it feels like my pre-internet days as a wrestling fan. Once again I havent got a fucking clue whats going on. I dont think any of us do anymore. And I think its fucking great. |

| Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Anyway like I said in the other thread I think if the WWE keeps up with what they are doing it will make wrestling a lot more enjoyable for all of us in general with the surprise factor added in. | ||

I think we think we know everything, or we know too much, but in reality WWE is doing what they should have been doing all along..Playing the net fans for fools. In my opinion, WWE has killed all of these wrestling news sites off as far as storyline giveaways, heel turns, roster changes, etc. go. There is really only a select few people that seem to know what exactly is going to happen before it happens, and I LOVE it that way..Wrestling is so great to watch these days..I'm excited. Even Triple H's character is getting a break..It's fucking awesome! In the last few months WWE has taken what we thought was a company with no direction and done a complete 180..and got this fucker jumping once again...lol

And I'm starting to believe that. Maybe shit starts out as a shoot, but it's all becoming a work in the end to make business rise.. I think there are things that happen that are a shoot and then turn into a work, but I can't be sure about it.. Did JBL really fuck up the Meanie? Well, I guess he did, but WWE capatized on that and now it's a work if it wasn't before...Same with Edge/Matt.. Yeah, Lita prolly fucked Edge and all that..but for how long has this been a work? Nobody knows.. WWE is doing a great job of turning shoots into works or things that we think are shoots into works...LOL...Does that make sense? Either way..I'm loving it.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well I'm not gonna gush all over anything , but this is the way the wrestling business should run. Its giving the fans what they want. Its exactly what they used to do in the pre-internet days, back then it was a word of mouth thing. But the promoters knew what the fans wanted and gave it to them. They wanted to see Flair they got plenty of him, they loved Hogan, thats what they got. They wanted to see certain guys fight, and thats how most fueds pre-1990 or so got going. WWE strayed fom this for many years because they were always trying to swerve the fans, suprise us with the out comes, and it became evident that after a while it was always what Vince and his top guys wanted. Well i think Vince will find there is much more money to be had if he gives us the matches we want to see.

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() | I think HHH was the first to build his heat with internet/smart fans going back over a year. perhaps because that worked so well WWE has evolved into the creature it is now working the hell out of us. Personally I like the change and I hope they keep it balanced out like this for a while. WWE.com losing kayfabe has meant that all internet users have a more "smart" feel. That "smart" feel is making the current storylines great. |

It certainly seems to have been a work from the time WWE played Hardy's entrance music a few weeks back. I would be more worried if they started booking specifically and repeatedly to fool or fox the internet audience. This is a dangerous route and one that WCW followed in it's last days. This will just lead to repeated on the fly booking and multiple twists and turns that end up confusing everyone. If you still go along with the old adage that you should believe everything you ever see is a work then you won't go far wrong!!
