I think JV nailed it on the head in his RAW review when he said that HBK might not be able to be the ****y heel he once was cuz that's not him anymore. What does that mean for his heel turn? It's gonna be filled with crappy reasons for the heel turn like we heard lastnight. HBK's interview was the only thing that I really had a problem with RAW (I missed the Diva search). Everythign else I thought was pretty good. I officially think Benjamin is cool.

I'll start with the cons first..


Cons:


-Tajiri got too much offense in on Masters..I understand what Steveo and Ida are both trying to say, but Tajiri is a jobber now..Plain and simple. If Masters was fighting Shelton, then yes I would expect Shelton to get most of the offense, but I can't be impressed by a guy when he gets in two moves against another guy that's half his size..I still like Masters though and think he has potential to be pretty good..

-HBK's reasoning..Yeah, we all hate that. I think Piper did a great job though of showing HBK to be a coward..It plays of of HBK's old heel character that was a coward and wouldn't fight people face to face. Then HBK had to cheap shot Piper and it showed once again that he's pretty much a coward..There's nothing wrong with being a coward if you cn still win matches, right? lol


Pros:

-I can't complain about the diva search..I like hot chicks and at least this year the competition has been a little more athletic..At least we don't see pie and ice cream, right?

-Carlito-Shelton..these guys work well together in the ring..I like thefact that Carlito took his title and took off. They used to do that a lot back in the day. Carlito was taking advantage of the system.

-Piper/Y2J/Carlito...Funny stuff. They all do seem to have a lot of similarities.

-Y2J/Cena...Not as good as last week, but I love the Y2J "Hollywood" character he's playing and we found out that Jericho will get the title shot at SummerSlam.

-Matt Hardy's return..What can I say that hasn't already been said? Brilliant stuff. WWE has been great television the last few weeks on RAW and I'm so happy to be a wrestling fan again. This could be huge.

-Y2J/Carlito/Carlito
-Bischoff getting F-U'd and the whole Cena/Y2J interaction
-Matt Hardy returns.
-Piper's Pit

Cons

-The Diva search crap. Wasn't actually watching that segment was watching another show at that time.

Overall, a better RAW than I have seen in a long while.

I think this years diva search is already in it's short time 10x better than the one last year, sure they have several weeks to make me regret /eat my words, but honestly. the girls are better looking, are somewhat better at talking and it seems like wwe is trying to give them real things to do instead of just putting them out there in a bikini to dance and giggle and laugh their ways thru crappy impropteau promos.
I don't like the diva search or that all these new likely useless girls will be all over my tv while my beloved cruiserweights sit at home, but they're gonna do it no matter what I or we think so I'm just gonna thank god that this years has been so much better so far.

The opening segment with Y2J and Carlito in particular

Shelton and Carlito's feud being continued in a well booked manner

Cena/Jericho/Bischoff/FU (Cena is being booked so similarly to the old SCSA)

Cons

HBK segment was just disappointing
