The New "DX"

Alot of people keep mentioning in various threads that they want to see HHH and Shawn Michaels join together and reform DX. Some people want Benjamin to be in it, other want, RVD, or Big Show, or Flair. To me this idea is terrible. I mean, they beat D-X into the ground the firsttime around. This suggestion is just a rehash of an old idea. People are always complaining about the WWE creative team for "not being original" and yet so many of you are dying to see D-X again. Its so hypocritical. Anyways, here is why I DO NOT want to see D-X reformed.

Over the past two or three years (maybe even more) HHH and Shawn Michaels have been in countless matches together. Many of these matches were absolute bloodbaths (i.e. Wrestlemania 20 and Backlash 2004 w/ Benoit as well as numerous singles matches). During this time the two, storyline wise, have come to despise each other. Just because they are both heels now doesnt mean they should become best buddies like they once were. They are characters but they are suppose to be realistic. How many people are you friends with that you have endless beaten to a bloody pulp... my guess is zero. Therefore, this re-hashed "DX" thing shouldnt happen. Shawn and Trips need to be seperate. Sure they can team as heels from time to time, but they should hate each other while they do. If they reform D-X and simply forget their past it would be ridiculous and totally near-sighted (i.e. a ratings grab).

As for reforming DX...just let it go. It's time has passed. It was great while it lasted, but any way they do it now, it will just come off as contrived and watered-down

i don't believe they should re hash the d-x but they should still team up those two together are good television. it doesn't matter what happend the past 3 years or so between the two, i've seen stranger pairings taker kane hhh austin and others. i think if the clique wants to be back together they will and i wouldn't mind it

I'd still love to hear the DX come on and see them walk out .I would mark out big time. Yes it has been done and it is the past but it would still be fun.

Why use DX when you have a great stable in evolution sitting there with only 2 members? And as for them hating each other, 1. Since when has that stopped people from teaming up and forgetting their past 2.They were friends longer then enemies, so they could choose to burry the hatchet, and go back to doing things their way.
And like I said, screw DX, Evolution with HBK, HHH, RVD, Benjamin and a non competing Flair (except the occasionaly fantasy match and Foley) would be damn good for RVD and Benjamin, and maybe tag titles for HHH and HBK, keeping them out of the world title picture while getting the belts on TV at least

I always found Evolution to be very boring. They never did anything other than beat people up. There was no real theme to any of it and it was just a bunch of guys with a leader who hogged the spotlight. At least DX brought us highlight after highlight. DX has a dvd out. Can you see Evolution having a DVD out that would sell anywhere near what DX did? For whatever reason people don't want to see DX but I thought they were the best stable ever and I would love to see them have one more run. It doesn't have to be long, and it would give HHH some different character change that everyone is looking for.

Well you pointed the problem with old evoltion right there, leader that hogged the spotlight and they never did anything. I say have Evolution but have them act like DX (minus the crotch chop) have them be just a sophisticated DX. Don't get me wrong I loved DX too, but I think the guys might be a bit too old now. I don't know, DX just seems to juvenile for HHH and HBK now. But them in suits being pricks will work wonders for the evolution brand
