heels rolling out for faces

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this. I used to notice it and be annoyed every once in awhile buy never really thought about it.. then I was reading Flair's book and he mentioned that now a days heels have to roll out of the ring when the face comes out and struts around before the match. he mentions rolling out of the ring for HBK and how that would never happen in NWA, that the fans wouldn't buy that. ( I know people know its fake now but...)
So I watched SD and I noticed that Daivari/Hassan got out for Undertaker. And Christian rolled out for Batista's entrance.
Beyond that, it has been happening a lot lately.
I don't like it myself, I agree w/ Flair that it is unreal. (I know wrestling is fake)

I agree. Now I'm gonna go shoot myself for agreeing with Ric Flair. But seriously, I think the heels need to have more attitude, not always escaping and being cowardly. Don't get me wrong, you need some cowardly heels, but you need a lot to actually believe in their abilities as well.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Yeah, I wrote a little bit about this type of thing the other day...It was about heels always having to cheat to win, and this is kind of the same deal with the heels..

Rolling out of the ring makes the heels look awful. Did you happen to see TNA the other day Jackie? Team Canada was beating somebody's ass, I can't remember who it was right now, but the Naturals ran out and Team Canada got the hell out of the ring..What was that? There were four members of Team Canada and Scott D'Amore in the ring, and fuckin' two naturals and Team Canada leaves..Just stupid. I know wrestling is fake too but it needs to be more realistic than the example I just brought up.

This type of thing does happen all the time, and it really should stop. I mentioned before how I thought it was gay that Stone Cold turned heel in 2001 and then started running from people after not backing down from a fight in years. Just dumb.

I think Jackie was referring to while a guy is doing his entrance. I do remember Flair`s commentry on it. It was something along these lines. "I cant imagine having to ask Harley Race to step out of the ring because Shawn Michaels wants to dance around in his chaps and pose for a while". It`s so the norm now that I dont notice it unless a guy does the opposite. Angle did it his second week on RAW and stared at his opponent as he came down the ramp and that looked kinda cool. Also looks good when a guy stays in on Austin`s because Austin then stares them out as he goes corner to corner.

I had a sig, once.

Haha..I just noticed I was bitching about something different..oh well.

Yeah, I don't like it when the heel has to leave the ring either in most cases, but like Kay J brought up, it does look better in certain situations.

I think it should be used only for those heels who you'd expect to be wary of their opponent. Anyone confident in the match should just lean back in the corner or something. The ol' HBK lay down on the ropes was a good one too. He should start doing that while other people enter the ring.

I'm with you, thirty7, but it seems like the heels that they book to have attitude end up being babyfaces. Look at Randy Orton this time a year ago, look at Batista 7 months ago. If they book them to have balls, they won't stay heel for long.
