How would you bring Brock and or Matt back?

With all the talk of bringing Matt Hardy back for a feud with Edge and Lita, and with Mr. Lesnar pandering for his old job back I was wondering how all of you would go about bringing each of them back into the fold?

I think considering the writer's pention for using rehashed angles the return of Mattitude would play off of the old HBK and Undertaker feud. In that fued DX played one of their practical jokes where Hunter and Chyna came out in a caket pretending to be the Undertaker, and then the next week Shawn was in the ring and the lights went out and instead of DX it was Undertaker for real.

I see the same sort of thing happening to Edge and Lita they would play Matt's music again maybe to go with the tried and true midget joke only for Matt to come out for real for the swerve. Not necesarily what I want to happen but if Matt were to return that seems like the best bet.

As for Brock I really don't know how they could bring him back maybe F5'ing Vince to play off the real life situation or maybe something like Christian hiring a new problem solver because Tomko couldn't get the job done.

Just some ideas, what are yours?

they should have a really good heel win the WWE championship, like kurt angle, and have him hold the title for a good long time, enough time to get a ton of heat (genuine wrestling heat, not infidelity stalker pervert heat) and then just when just about all the big stars on the roster have put him over as champ, have Brock come in....

matt.... who knows.... way too many options. just about anything will work.

Yeah, I think at this point everyone would be happy just to see Matt come out any way possible. What's funny is that if Matt ever did come back do you think he would be more popular than he ever was? I mean, of course he would get huge pops in the beginning, but would it last more than a couple months?

I've always been a fan of both the Hardy Boyz so I'd be interested in a Matt return for more than just the Edge angle.


Before I get off track, I should say something about Lesnar. I was a huge Lesnar fan and even though he pretty much sucked on the mic, his wrestling ability and agility for a guy his size was amazing.

When Lesnar first debuted I remember he would come out of the crowd and attack people in the ring with Paul Heyman by his side. I always loved Heyman with Brock, he was a great mouthpiece for Lesnar.

This time, I'd have Paul Heyman come back for a breif stint as an announcer but get fired by Mr. McMahon. At the same time I would have McMahon align himself with Triple H to play off of real life....That's right, McMahon and The Game together again.

Anyway, Triple H will be due for a Title win soon enough so when he wins the championship at whatever PPV with the help of Vince, I'd have Paul Heyman come out through the crowd first and start talking. Vince will say something like, "I fired your ass!! What are you doing back? Security!! Get him out of here!!!"

Security will handcuff Heyman and start taking him up the ramp with Triple H and Vince looking on. Out of nowhere, Lesnar comes out of the crowd and gets in the ring to a massive Pop! Vince and Triple H turn around and are shocked at what they are seeing...Triple H takes off and leaves Vince in there to take the F-5 and we get a Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar program started for the first time ever.

The show ends with Heyman laughing at Vince at the top of the ramp.

sounds great to me, except everyone would whine that HHH is *STILL* in the spotlight. but i personally love it.

and of course at a certain point in time we would have to see batista vs. lesnar.

HHH would be the perfect foil for Lesnar considering he has bad mouthed Brock in interviews and what not, but would bringing Lesnar back as a face be the best idea? Do you think fans would be responsive to that after the Wrestlemania debacle?

I think some fans won't like a Lesner return since they feel he "abandoned' the company. I'd have him run in on Batista and F-5 him or something. As for Matt, he could return any way and the fans would still be hot for him.

Well..like my idea goes, I have Vince and Triple H aligned with each other playing off of their real life "partnership" if you will. So..I think most fans would be happy to see him back and would love to see him and Heyman kick Vince and The Game's ass..

Of course, that's just how I'd bring him back...I do like him and Heyman better as heels and they could both turn back inot their old ways after the storyline is complete. Obviously, I'd have Brock win the title from Triple H is their first encounter, and I don't want to hear about other wrestlers bitching about Brock paying his dues. When they get as talented as Lesnar, then they can say something..lol

I like most of the Brock ideas above, basically just anything as long as he comes back...I love that guy!!

The best return for Matt, as has been said, would be if Edge comes out to take up his second world title shot on a champion who's just retained his title in a hard fought match. Just as it looks like Edge is going to screw a champion out of the title, Hardy's music starts up (I guess know they could have Edge act like he thinks it's a joke too) and he runs in, twist of fate and so on.....
