Sorry Kal, but I'm over Hogan. I've seen him come back in WWE and WCW on a thousand different occasions, and then the fans say they want one more match, which is fine, but Hogan was acting like who couldn't even get in the ring and he was doing the fans a huge favor, and then the guy comes out again and wrestles another match a few weeks later. It's obvious to me that this whole thing is to get the spolight again for his show on VH1..

Yeah, I used to be a Hogan fan, but I moved on YEARS ago. I'm not saying he shouldn't have a role in the company, I'm just tired of his comebacks and surprise appearances, because it's always going to be the same thing. He's gonna come out and beat up a guy that's half his age and then pose around for 20 minutes.

Bret Hart is my fav wrestler ever and I've even moved on from him. Sometimes, enough is enough, and I've had enough of Hogan.

Blitz, you're entitled to your own opinion, and I respect that, but I don't see a problem with Hogan showing up every now and then and doing a run-in or wrestling in a tag match. It's exactly how he should be used. He's not wrestling singles matches or going after titles, thus not taking the spotlight away from the top guys. He's a perfect side attraction and is a nice bonus for us long time fans who enjoy seeing our favorite wrestlers of the past. Like it or not, Hogan is the biggest name in wrestling and there are millions of wrestling fans that still love the guy, so in that sense, WWE would be stupid not to take advantage of that and use him ocassionally. Sure Hogan can't draw PPV numbers like the old days, but really, he shouldn't be placed in that position (like Backlash, which was a mistake). Hogan will always have a place in WWE, because the fans want to see him.

I see what you guys are saying. If Hogan came back every once in a while and wrestled a tag match against a veteran guy than I'd be all for it.

I just don't want to see Hogan go out there and kill a rising star like what Stone Cold did to Hassan. To me, that wouldn't be right. Hogan kicking Tomko's ass was fine with me because Tomko has no real future in WWE.

You're right about Austin, Blitz. He did nothing to put over Hassan, in fact, his comments and stunner did some damage to his character. Everyone talks about how JBL should be punished for what he did to Meanie (I am with the majority on that), but no one is saying anything about Austin being punished for his comments on RAW. They were offensive and way out of line, yet he gets away with it because he's Austin.

At least WWE had enough sense to have Hogan pin Daivari when Hogan and HBK tagged up to face Hassan-Daivari at Backlash. That way Hassan was able to blame Daivari for the loss and could still move forward with his character.

I have made that point before. No one is calling Austin an asshole. They don't like JBL so what he did was wrong and then what Austin does gets ignored. I didn't see any threads and maybe like 1 or 2 comments about what was said.

My other point was, SCSA doing nothing to put over Hassan wasn't Austin's fault. It is how they wanted it booked. The obviouisly had no plans to put Hassan over so it wasn't booked that way. You can't blame Austin for that, blame Vince and the choice he made.

Very true on everything you said. We agree on that. When I was a kid I have to admit that I was a much bigger Ultimate Warrior fan and prolly why I don't love Hogan as much as some other people. I do respect what he's done though over his career.
