WARNING: SD! SPOILER!!!


It's time for another PPV! Vengance is going to be nothing like One Night Stand. Even if Vengance is one of the best PPV's of the year for WWE it still won't top the marking-out-ness and Holy-sh*t-ness of One Night Stand. Let's face it, ECW currently (eventho it's out of business) has a better product than WWE. Some of us thought maybe vince realized this after the PPV and there were theories that ECW would invade or take over SD! or somethign like that. The big key was that there was no title on SD! and that Jericho would beat Cena and take the title to SD! and turn it into an ECW title or something. Well on SD! next week we will have a big match for a new SD! title and the whole ECW thory seems shot now. I suppose it could still happen if say Beniot wins or if Jericho gets drafted and sneaks into that big match but it seems more and more unlikely the further and further away we get from One Night Stand. Puls the addition of Hassan does not help the ECW thoeries at all cuz Hassan is a WWE product and he hasen't shown any traits of being a hardcore wrestler. I dunno, it jsut seems more and more that ECW One Night Stand was truly just that, a one night stand. Which saddens me becasue I remember Vince saying and taking pride in giving the fans what they want and now with the ECW thing, Matt Hardy thing, letting SD! go down the crapper, letting HHH stay stale, insisting on having Diva and match recaps for about 30min worth of the show, and all the other dumb things going on it seems that he's now priding himself on NOT giving the fans what they want. I hope that I am wrong and the buyrate for one Night Stand compaired to Vengance will confirm the shot in the arm that was given two weeks ago and that some ECW ideas and elements are incorparated in WWE AT LEAST! The ultimate would be seeing a full rebirth of ECW but that won't happen on UPN. Is there still hope? Is there still a thory that will bring ECW back? Why sign Sabu if he's just gonna be allowed to fight WWE style? Is there still some way that Paul E can put his beautiful wrestling mind to work? Will Joey Styles ever replace the sucky Michael Cole? Is ECW truly dead before it's time is up? I sincerly hope not.

Because I know what happens on Smackdown i've been avoiding the what if this happens since I already know what the outcome will be.

With the large amount of former ECW talent on Smackdown it could be possible to start a large ECW stable. Maybe a nWo Vs WCW style angle, ECW Vs Smackdown. That would certainly shake be cobwebs off of the show. Smackdown definately needs something because it is dying on its arse. I for one would love to see ECW back in any form, whether that be as a stable or on its own show and I think many fans feel the same. ONS was the best PPV since WM 20 IMO, but I'm bias, I'm an ECW mark.

Yeah but the likehood of that appening seems to be dwindling. I dunno I might be wrong. Boy, I hope I'm wrong. A ressurection of stable wars would be awesome, tho.

If Jericho goes to SD! (like I think he will) with the WWE title I think we will see an ECW stable form just like all of you ECW marks are dreaming of. Otherwise it really doesnt make sense for the signing of Juvie, Psychosis, and Super Crazy - other than to make the cruiserweight division worth watching.
