| Keeping The Heat After a champ loses the belt [to Triple H], it's like they were never champion (see Orton or Benoit). Is this because the WWE never gives them any heat back as real main-eventers, or is it because the WWE never really established them as main-eventers in the first place? | ||||||||||||||

| I think it's that they don't keep the heat. HBK woulden't be a legend if he didn't keep the heat after his first reign as champ. KIn fact, same can be said for all the legends. | |||||||||||||||

| Well...on Benoit I believe he was never really a main eventer. His title reign seemed like more of a token to him for being such a great wrestler for so long. I'm not saying they couldn't have done more with him, but I don't think they ever intended too. With Orton, he was a main eventer player as a heel, but the face turn came way too early and he wasn't ready for it. Now he has to be repaired on SD! and he can return to RAW in a year after he dominates the Thursday (Friday) show. There is no question that they want Orton to be one of their future stars.
