What would be the best solution for the WWE Title?

This Sunday Champion John Cena faces off against Chris Jericho and Christian in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title.

Here are a couple of scenarios I want to throw against the wall. Lets see what sticks, shall we?

I would like to assume that one of the champions must go back to Smackdown. I have seen some other stuff on the net that makes me think that perhaps both titles will remain on Raw. Not positive at all, so its not a spoiler. I want to present a couple ways this Triple Threat match will be the big storyline post PPV.

Here are some ideas.

John Cena pins Christian. Chris Jericho beats down Cena post match continuing their fued. Christian gets drafted to Smackdown and creates a way to covet a new heavyweight title for Smackdown. Batista fueds with Edge while Cena fueds with Y2J until Cena and Batista meet up for a unification match. Christian then gets his way and is crowned new Heavyweight Champ on SD ala HHH (Kinda Lame)

Chris Jericho pins Christian. John Cena takes out both men post match. Cena begins fued with Batista. Chris Jericho is drafted to SD and begins fued with whoever. Christian is traded to SD and punks out Jericho until their title match at Summerslam.

The same scenario is entirely possible with Christian. Christian winning the title would be considered huge in the eyes of the marks but would raise many eyebrows from the casual fans.

I prefer the Jericho pinning Cena scenario. Cena should stay on Raw. Jericho needs another title push while currently playing off his ego heel character. Christian is ready in my eyes but perhaps not by others. Give him some solid wins and let him go from there with Jericho at SS.

Thoughts??

the way I see it..i think WWE will put Jericho over..and have him pin Christian instead of Cena...so both Jericho n Christian will be drafted to SD and continue their feud at there

So many ways to go with this....

One thing is pretty much a certain in my mind, and while I don't want to see Christian do a job to anyone, he seems the most likely candidate to take the fall in Sunday's WWE title match. Cena's being pushed too hard to get pinned or submit at this point, but they need to get the belt off of him and back over to Smackdown ASAP, so he's not going to retain. That said, I've got my money on Chris Jericho taking the belt and getting drafted to Smackdown.

My reasoning behind this is that WWE's choices during this draft make seem more and more like they're planning on having Smackdown go ECW at some point. It might not be immediate, but if you look at Cena, Angle, and Carlito going to Raw - they're all WWE creations. If you look over at Smackdown - you've got Benoit and Orton so far. Benoit's a former ECW guy and Orton, while a WWE creation, would play a great foil to an oncoming ECW takeover for the WWE boys. Plus, as evidenced with his street fight with Mick Foley a year ago, he's not afraid to lay it on the line in the ring, so he could fit in with the ECW style of wrestling even if his look is more WWE. Additionally, if you look at both rosters, here are the ECW alums on each side:

Raw: Chris Jericho, Lita, Simon Dean, Tajiri, Kid Kash (he had a Heat match last week)
Smackdown: Al Snow, Bubba Ray Dudley, Chris Benoit, D-Von Dudley, Dawn Marie, Eddie Guerrero, Joey Mercury, Nunzio, Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, Spike Dudley, Tazz, and "newbies" Super Crazy and Psichosis (who had matches on Velocity last week)

See a discrepancy? I won't be shocked if Jericho, Dean, Tajiri, and Kash all end up on Smackdown by the end of the draft. Lita's too caught up in the Edge stuff, so I see her staying put for now.

So, the short version is Jericho takes the title, gets traded, and the WWE title eventually becomes the ECW title.

oh my god, kid kash is w/ wwe. oh my god. so excited. i thought i'd heard that he might sign but i don't remember hearing that he did, untill now that is. oh my god.
oh yeah, in a surprise turn, kash should win the belt by pinning cena and then beating on y2j and christian. then he and the chrises can feud while cena drinks himself into jake the snake.

I have a feeling that they will unify the belts on RAW and create a new Smackdown title. Thats what I see happening if HHH wins Sunday (which he will), and if Cena retains (which he will). Batista will end up on Smackdown, along with Jericho, or HBK.

I agree with Steveo completely. I posted something very similar to this earlier in the Smackdown Spoiler thread.

Does Christian have a decent finisher? What is it? I haven't seen anything for a long time....

I think they should build up Christian winning the title for a bit longer. Maybe even until Wrestlemania next year. It's been so long since a title win has actually been thoroughly deserved and enjoyed. The last time I remember feeling overwhelmed by someone winning the title was when Angle won it off Austin back in 2001 or 2002 at Unforgiven. The WWE has fallen into a slump where people get involved in the company, start making a splash, and are winning the World Title a year later (or sometimes even less) eg: HBK, Lesnar, Orton, Batista, Cena. Granted, these guys are all brilliant, but I LOVE it when a wrestler wins the title not just because he's over, but because he DESERVES it. The kind of thing that happened at WM12 with Michaels.

I think if the Christian potential is worked for a while, he could be the next guy to generate that kind of emotion. God knows he deserves it, he just needs more appreciation amongst casual fans and a greater anticipation amongst the fans at large.

He wins with the awesome, schoolboy rollover into a hand on the ropes. Fantastic finisher.

Seriously he does have one where he hooks arms with the opponent and then drops them onto their face (not a good description) is it called the unprettier?

Ok..to fully understand the world title situation we must look at the Vengeance card and see what might realistically happen.

1. Many of you think that Trips is beating Dave. Booking 101 tells me that Trips is losing seeing how he won the tag match clean on RAW. I don't always trust the booking thing though, so lets look at some other issues. Dave has only been champ for a couple months and he's getting cheered for the most part. Not huge pops but pretty big. I don't think it's been nearly enough time to figure out whether Dave can work as champ or not. The tricky part that I come to is that Trips has already lost twice to Dave clean. So how does Trips lose this match and still come out looking good? He has someone cost him the match and then faces that person at Summerslam.

What happend last year? Benoit beat Trips two matches, and then in the 3rd match, the Iron Man Match, Eugene cost Trips and they had a battle at Summerslam. I can see the same scenerio happening here. I think Trips will stay on RAW after the loss.

2. John Cena is being pushed to the moon. Do I think he could lose the belt? Yes, but he is not taking the pin. Either Cena pins Christian or Jericho-Christian pins one of the other. Now, do I think WWE is ready to give CLB the title? No way. Wishful thinking. I think Jericho has the only shot and then could move to SD! like Y2JKOTW was saying, but with his contract status up in the air, I also think this is unlikely. So what have we learned? I say Christian takes the fall from Cena and moves on to SD! to try and save himself from getting burried completely on RAW. I could see A Jericho-Cena match down the road, but not a long lasting feud or anything because I think there is still a possibility of SD! getting their own title and Jericho moving to SD! to carry that one.

In closing, I think the way WWE will go is to have Trips gets screwed, Cena stay champ and on RAW, and Dave go to SD! with his title, or he stays and fights Cena at Summerslam and Jericho wins a 3rd World Title at The Great American Bash.

Man, this is confusing. Is anyone lost yet?
