Ok first thing I dont want to get into the whole it was wrong, Lita is a slut, Edge is a dick routine as that as been done to death, the question I put is as the affair been good for the careers of the 3 of them?

If Matt comes back and can work a program with them, then yes. That pop on RAW was huge. But if not, all it has done is given Edge huge heel heat, but done nothing really for Matt and Lita.

Think about it. Out of this Edge and Lita establish themselves as legit main event heels and Matt Hardy gets the biggest face pop in his career and is instantly elevated because of this whole ordeal??

Didn't they do something similiar with Bret Hart? Where Michaels called Hart out and out came a "little person"? Part of me was waiting for that last night.

They've done the "false" intro thing loads of times. As well as Bret Hart (as mentioned) they've done it with Hogan and Warrior too, it's not new. It isn't a work, however as we've gone over loads of times in the last few months, it wouldn't surprise me a jot if Vince tried to re-sign Matt just as he's about to go to TNA just to bring him in, try and make it look like a work and try and make out he's a genius. The guy's ego would really get off on that.

I agree, if Matt ever came back to WWE now he would have more interest in him than any debut of recent memory.

With Lita, I think the whole thing has killed her career. She used to be one of the most popular women in WWE history and now she will never live down this shit as being a real life slut. Yeah, a lot of people are probably no different than her but they don't see it that way. I see sluts rip on other sluts for being sluts all the time. Make sense? The heat she gets from the crowd isn't the type that would make people interested in what she does from here. The live crowd was chanting "boring" when the wedding was going on.

For Edge, I think it's done some good for him in the short term. Nobody cared about him before so at least now he's getting a little heat even if it's heat that's only going to last a few months. I tell you what...If WWE doesn't cram Edge down our throat soon the heat is going to wear off and he'll be back to the "no chance in hell that he ever wins the title" cateogory..

I was thinking that if Hardy does come back, it could potentially kill any momentum they have going with Edge right now.

Like it or not, he is mega over as a heel right now. But there is only so long this can last when facing off against a wrestler in a storyline that nobody cares about (Kane/Lita/Edge).

Edge wins Sunday, unless for some freak occurance Matt Hardy takes out Edge and Kane.


Another reason why this storyline is a clusterfreak with Hardy involved is that he should have more beef with Kane then Edge. Technically he shouldnt have any beef with Edge (storyline wise only)

After the wedding I think the average fan doesn't really care about the Edge/Lita/Matt thing that much, since it doesn't look like the payoff that everyone wants will ever happen. WWE seems content with using Kane as a surrogate, despite the fact that nobody buys it.

What they should do is make Edge champion FAST, before this Matt-related heat has completely cooled. I know they're probably going to throw Cena in a feud with HHH sooner than later, but it would be better for Edge to take Cena's title away at the next PPV (maybe even sooner). Then, after he's been champ for a few months, and comes across as a true headliner, bring Hardy back and have the two feud. I know that after several months the interest won't be as high, but it's something. If it's done right you can make them both main eventers, and the whole real-life ordeal will have furthered their careers considerably.

But instead I bet Hardy never comes back, and within months Edge is stuck back in the midcard netherworld that's been his home for the last year or so. And no matter what happens, I don't see Lita ever being an effective face again. While the whole affair will likely end up being the most damaging to Hardy (he lost his dream job), there's no question at all that it's damaged Lita's career.
