RAW thoughts for June 20, 2005

Thank you, thank god someone else also hates this crap. I was beginning to think everyone had gone crazy, that or I had gone crazy...

As for Raw
Con: I watched the whole thing. bah.
but I do love Carlito, honestly he was the main reason I was still watching SD. Now its' just Paul London and a few cruiserweights. I don't know how long that can really hold my interest. I'm beginning to wish that SD would become an ECW show.
I hope Cena retains and gets traded back to SD, then I'll fast forward thru him like I used to.

Good to see Carlito and Cena on Raw. They look right there.

Cons -

Why do you think you can walk over the top rope now Shelton? You can fly over it....you can't walk over it....quit trying to break your neck yer fool.

The Matt Hardy tease. I've watched too much WWE, I knew as soon as his music hit that he wasn't going to be there. Did anyone seriously fall for this crap? Next time people post on here saying "Matt let it go already" can we now point them to "WWE let it go already".

As said above, Hassan shouldn't be winning the title off of Cena by any stretch of the imagination, however squashing him like a jobber in less than two minutes after building up this whole Raw unbeaten thing for months on end was senseless and showed no since of planning. I look forward next week to watching Cena stroll out and break out of the masterlock in two seconds flat, FU'ing the muscled doofus and strolling out of the ring without breaking a sweat.

Everything else was just average.

-Diva Search crap and HHH/Batista feud recap - AGAIN!!!

The cena/christian feud has been building far longer than 2 months.
Its been building since they met at the rumble and they freestyled which was the most entertaining bit of the rumble.

I didn't see raw cause of the lack of sky, but from what i've read, carlito to raw is a good thing and this is now a way for y2j to become the big star on sd when he is drafted after the title win at vengence.

Benjamin could also do with a draft to sd to improve and fight different people and beat orlando jordan for the us title.

Appart from that, hhh/batista needs to end at vengence because i'm so bored of the writers putting hhh against whoever the champion is.

In regards to the wedding/Matt thing, I think it symbolizes everything that's wrong with WWE nowadays. The writers know what we want, but I think they hold so much resentment towards the viewers (the internet ones, at least) that pissing us off has become more important to them than producing decent programming. The Hardy tease is the first example I can think of in which it seemed like the writers were deliberately trying to make the audience unsatisfied. I can only imagine them backstage, seeing the fans go nuts when they think Hardy's going to come out and then laughing with self-satisfied glee as they see everyone's spirits drop when he doesn't appear. Does that sound like the kind of attitude someone in the entertainment business should have? George Lucas didn't respond to the hatred towards Jar-Jar in Phantom Menace by making him the main character of Attack of the Clones.

exactly my point. a bunch of dicks, they are.

the one good angle they have going right now, in my opinion, is HHH and batista. why? because the angle is based on wrestling. two huge guys who used to be friends getting in the ring and going at it like bulls to see who really is the best. thats the jist of it. the storyline revolves around wrestling... not marriage, or infidelity, or pregnancy, or rape, stalking, etc etc etc.

i like wrestling. i dont like weddings. i dont like funerals. i dont like masked men having sex with dead bodies. i also dont like hip-hop. that crap belongs on MTV and lifetime.

it's still real to me, dammit!
