Tomko was still Trish's bodyguard. Trish beat Victoria and then Richards came out and tripped up Trish I think, So Tomko got in and beat the hell out of him. Lawler kept yelling "Who is it? Who is it?" and it was annoying as fuck if I remember correctly. Then they had a match, if you could call it a match.

ah, so the ending was similarto it's entire run. w/ richards coming out for victoria save and king/jr acting confused. cept this time there was a shitty match out of it. ok.
i would never waste my time w/ a shit ppv like unforgiven so it's no surprise i missed it.
though i do wish they wouldv'e explained why richards was in drag....
maybe he's just gay, that would explain his outfits in ecw.

Well here is good angle that WWE never really finished, unless they have plans to yet this year, The ECW invasion. All that build-up, and the several angles, they all had a blow off at the PPV which was great, but the next nights on RAW and Smackdown they hardly made any mention of anything that happened. I think Boschoff said something to the effect of "I never wanna hear those letters again.", and Taz just said it was fun. That was it. We get no payoff on the big TV shows. So unless they plan on continuing it later this year I consider that unfinished.

true that steveo, i was thinking that too during raw but i didn't know if it was too early to say they had dropped the storyline.

I think after WM17 the next night on Raw Triple H and Stone Cold teamed up beat the crap out of Rock and put him in "injury mode/hollywood mode" for a couple of months. Only like 5 months earlier Austin and HHH had one of the best feuds ever over the whole being "run over by a car". Anyway, it pissed me off that just because Austin had turned heel (and like, using Vince was NOT the right way) all of a sudden all the animosity died between him and HHH. This was a long time ago, so forgive me if I'm missing something or totally wrong.

Speaking of the being run over by a car angle, I thought the Rikishi thing was abandoned pretty quick. I think they had one match at No Mercy and that was it....
