Rep Power: 7 ![]() | The Chris Masters Appreciation Thread Post here all comments and witty banter about the next Intercontinental Champion! *** Dear Sgt. Slaughter, Sorry about the low blow and Masterlock last night. You seemed like you were in pretty good shape for a 75 year old, though. Regards, C. Masters P.S. - Worst Cobra Clutch Ever.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Masters was the # 1 Ranked Superstar on WWE Fantasy this week? Coincidence? I think not. The guy is going to the top, and let's hope he runs over Randy Orton on the way there.

Rep Power: 69 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Profit, please tell me why you like this dude. Is just because he is boring as hell, has little to no offense and is clearly full of himself? Or is there more to it? I reckon its because everyone else thinks he stinks. I am also simply waiting to see who it is that breaks the MasterLock Challenge. I hope its soon because its boring as hell. I reckon it will be someone currently not on Raw. Think about it.

Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() | Don't worry Profit, Simon is just a hateah. Soon they will all be singing the phrases of The Master and joining the Master club. I don't know why people can't see the potential in this guy. He is in hella shape. Take a close look at him and not just looking at the fact that he has muscles. He is in actual bodybuilding compition shape. It is hella hard to stay like that and also be fit enough to wrestle. He is cut like a mother F'er. Just look at Profits avatar. Sure he isn't HUGE but he sure as hell is the best cut guy in WWE. He has very good mic skills and has gotten a lot of mic time to improve on it, and has. He has proven he can wrestle. Any negativity people have for him only ever seems to be about the booking. Why should that reflect apon him? No one blames Y2J,RVD, or many others for how they are booked. Masters is the future! |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Masters is developing - you people cheered Maven at one point, you know, on the premise that he had talent, and would be promising. Masters has a good look, ridiculous strength, and a lot of potential. I admit he does need a boost to his finisher, which is why I recommend that after a guy succumbs to the Masterlock, Masters hits a sit-down full nelson slam, then shoves the guy to the side. Sure, it wouldn't do a lot as a normal move, but given that the guy is prone and vulnerable from the finisher, it'd actually be pretty brutal. He also needs mic work, but who hasn't in the beginning of their career? Trust me, WWE is on to something here, and they'll be better for it if they ride it out. He's already getting good heat.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I'm jumping on the Masters bandwagon! I couldn't stand the guy at first, but he's grown on me the last month. He's decent on the mic and becoming more comfortable on the stick each week. Sure the Masterlock challenge was cheesy at first, but now that they use real wrestlers, it's a lot better. I now want to see who's gonna break it. His workrate (although he's had limited ring time on RAW) has improved a lot from his first match. I think he's going to continue to grow as a character and will be a top-level heel by this time next year. Masterlock all the way baby! |

Rep Power: 73 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | A lot of the positives about him seem to revolve around look at how he looks, he looks the part, etc etc or his mic work is getting better (it would be disturbing if it wasn't given the amount of time he's getting). Personally I look for more in ring product from talent that actually excites me and frankly, I'd be willing to give up a bit of the physique for some actual charisma or in ring talent (which as yet is unproven) It may very well be that he develops enough to get me interested in the guy (in the way that Batista did over the fullness of time) by aligning him with decent talent, protecting his limitations and so on. At the moment though the guy absolutely sucks and the absolute only interest I have in him is seeing which guy breaks this challenge first.
