There is talk amongst the wrestling world that Hulk Hogan always thought he was a ratings generator. (Read, the Death of WCW and you will see its so not true). Hulk Hogan would disappear when he saw rating starting to fall and then would claim he is the sole reason why WCW was even sucessful in the first place. Either it was Hogan helping others get over or at least him THINKING he was helping getting people over. Either way, Hogan always claimed that the wrestling world had to revolve around him. Does HHH think this way as well? Me thinks so. What were to happen if Triple H got injured? Could Batista, Cena, Edge and other carry the ball? Would rating go up? Go down? Stay the same? My theory is that Triple H fears what would happen if he were off TV for an extended amount of time. Its like he absolutely HAS to be involved with the main title at all times. I am kinda tired of it, and I am sure the guys in the WWE locker room are a bit tired of it as well. With that said, he will most likely win the HIC at Vengance. Shit. |

In every speech he mentions or implies that wrestling revolves around him. sometimes I wonder if it's really Steph who keeps Trips out there every week on the mic for 20 minutes. I will not say that she makes it so he always wins , b/c he certainly does not always win. Behind every great man there's a woman nagging the hell out of him, pushing him to get the hell out of the house.

So is Crocker our own Mr. Money in the Bank? ![]() Definitely Trips is protective of his spot, and I think when he cuts promos talking about how its all about him its pretty much straight from his heart. I wish he could take a step back and see that he'd be even more revered and have a greater place in WWE history if he would just go with the program instead of trying to be the program. I'm not saying he shouldn't have any perks or at least some preferential treatment, but its almost like he's over the top paranoid. Look at 'Taker...the guy has never been about ego or titles and yet people are hooked on his every move. HBK still gets the pops and he hasn't been a major player for some time. Trips could move himself out of the spotlight and still be completely relevant in the scheme of things. He's already a legend, he just needs to figure out how he wants to be remembered...like Hogan, or like Undertaker. I really am a big HHH fan, but enough is enough.

Many will debate that. Not me, but it has been a heavy debate on here in the past.
