My picks

Ok I just want to share my pics of the ten to be drafted. I had written out an explenation for each (I am sure some need one for why I picked them.) but I don't want to bore you so I will just post the names. Here are my predictions. That way I can claim bragging rights on any of them I actually picked right. ;)

Also I know that apparently word has leaked out who the first person drafted tonight will be. But I haven't read it so if that person is on my list I swear I didn't get spoiled.

Raw Superstars to be traded to Smackdown

Shawn Michaels
Sylvan Grenier
Mari
Chris Benoit
Snitsky

Smackdown Superstars to be traded to Raw
Undertaker - Who is my pick to be the one drafted to Raw tonight
Hardcore Holly
Mark Jindrak
Orlando Jordan
Nunzio

I also expect Christian to go to Smackdown. But I think they will drag out his name not getting drawn so he will persuade Bischoff to trade him for someone.

I also have a suspicion they might move all three of MNM to Raw as a trade for some big name to Smackdown. Just a hunch.

Also I think Eugene, Big Show and RVD are likley candidates to jump brands just not my top choices.

I also expect some of the all to many interchangable diva's will quietly be traded then repackaged as a valet for a debuting worker on down the rode.

I also am betting later on some of the heat lifers may switch sides with no fan fair as a trade, like Albert and Pulumbo did last year.

But the above ten are my main picks to be part of the draft. I know some of them seem like odd choices (and several of them are not people I want to see moved) but based on the last I forgot how many years of seeing WWE crative in action those are the moves I am predicting them to make.

Well, Simon called the first pick exactly. Methinks he is a warlock...

Not to be outdone, though, I'll bust out some psychic skills. Here's how I can see the rest playing out...

Smackdown needs to answer in a BIG way. Losing John Cena is a huge blow to them, so they need to counterpunch and fast. I say HBK gets drafted over this week.

Back to Raw: the way I see it, they don't need a lot of SD!'s top guys, so I think Cena and maybe one other guy (see below) will be it for them as far as main event-level talent goes. What Raw does need is a babyface female. Stacy and Christy don't cut it. I'm not sure if Miss Jackie has been training much lately, but she'd be a good choice to bump over to Raw.

Smackdown's next draw will be Sylvain Grenier - he'll pair back up with Rene Dupree and give SD another tag team to throw in the mix.

Next for Raw could be Charlie Haas. That way, he still gets to travel with his lady (Jackie) and could get a midcard run finally.

Smackdown's next choice could be Randy Orton. Sure, he has a ready-built feud with Batista, but he's also got unfinished business with the Undertaker.

Raw's next draft should be Tazz. Lord knows that someone needs to refresh JR's game, so why not pair him with the best color guy in the business?

Smackdown's next pick should be Christian. I think HHH will stay on Raw forever, and he's ready to move to the next level. Plus, Smackdown can use as many uppercard heels as they can take.

Raw's last pick should be Kenzo Suzuki. He hasn't been used on SD for months, so he deserves a fresh start. Sure, his ringwork generally blows, but he's kinda funny on the mic.

SD's last pick should be the winner of the Vengeance main event, which I predict to be Batista. He just started on Raw, but with he and Cena both on that brand, and it being too soon to take the belt off of either guy, moving him over would be a good thing IMO. Plus, that gives SD a World Champion again.

Post-draft, I think, to balance out the rosters, Raw will offer up Jerry Lawler, Maven, Val Venis, Eugene, and Stacy Keibler in exchange for the Kurt Angle and the Basham Brothers. This would give Raw a new tag team, Stacy new male wrestlers to help get over, Lawler a job, Venis some possible airtime, give the Bashams something new, and give Kurt a fresh(ish) crop of top guys to face - all while not making Smackdown too top heavy. And, the 5-for-3 trade would make Kurt's move look more important...

Here's how the brands would be made up:
Raw
GM: Eric Bischoff
Uppercard/Main Event: John Cena, Chris Benoit, Kane, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Edge, Kurt Angle
Midcard: Shelton Benjamin, Muhammad Hassan, Charlie Haas, Rob Conway, Kenzo Suzuki, Snitsky, Ric Flair
Undercard: Chris Masters, Daivari, Simon Dean, Steven Richards, Tyson Tomko, Viscera
Tag Teams: Rosey & Hurricane, The Heart Throbs, The Basham Brothers, Tajiri & Regal
Divas: Trish, Victoria, Lita, Christy, Miss Jackie, Lillian Garcia, Maria (The Genius)
Announcers: JR & Tazz (Raw), Coach & Todd Grisham (Heat)

Smackdown
GM: Theodore Long
Uppercard/Main Event: Batista, HBK, Randy Orton, Christian, JBL, Big Show, Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero
Midcard/Undercard: Orlando Jordan, RVD, Booker T, Carlito, Rey Mysterio, Hardcore Holly, Heidenreich, Mark Jindrak, Matt Morgan, Maven, Val Venis, Eugene
Cruiserweights: Paul London, Akio, Billy Kidman, Chavo Guerrero, Funaki, Nunzio, Spike Dudley
Tag Teams: MNM, Dudley Boyz, La Resistance, Scotty 2 Hotty & Shannon Moore (give them something to do, right?)
Divas: Dawn Marie (post-child birth), Melina, Joy Giovanni, Lauren Jones, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler
Announcers: Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler (SD), Steve Romero & Josh Mathews (Velocity)

I like your thought process. Smackdown! would have a very good main event lineup if the draft went this way, while at the same time giving Cena a chance to work with Angle and the guys who are staying on RAW. I just hope Triple H doesn't bury Cena when they face off.
