The reason.....

So what is it about WWE television that keeps you coming back each and every week?

Do you miss a week? Do you watch every program? Somewhere in between?

What is it that makes you tune in? To keep up with the people on the forum? Because you have been watching it so long its just habit? Because you really truely enjoy it?

Think about it.

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

I only have basic channels and can only watch Smackdown. I guess I still watch it because I enjoyed wrestling ever since I started watching it, and like to see what's going on. I am not hooked on it like i once was, and make it a can't miss show, but I still enjoy watching it for Angle, Undertaker, and all the greats.

i watch to learn mostly. sometimes i love to mark out during certain parts of the show and just cheer and be entertained, but i mostly love to watch the greats and learn. learn about moves, yes, but mostly psychology. its one thing to know the moves, but to know when to do them and how to keep 20000 people on the edge of their seats, thats what takes years to master. guys like terry funk, mick foley, ric flair etc etc are old and cant take as many high bumps or crazy moves, but theyre EXPERTS at ring psychology and thats why they still produce great matches. if you can master the psychology aspect of the show then you can be a great for years and years and years.

it's still real to me, dammit!

My reasons are that i've watched since I was very young and have always had a love for the characters, the storylines and the business in general.

Even though it's not at it's peak as it was many years ago, I still get some enjoyment out of it and as long as I have that feeling I will continue to watch it if i can and if possible.

I forget which hack wrote this once, but he got it spot on for me when he described it as a sickness. Even when it's atrocious I'll still watch it (and undoubtedly bitch about it after).

I keep up with it through reading jimmyvans reports, catching the odd PPV here and there. Thats about it.

I dont have the channels for RAW/SMACKDOWN and can do without them because the product to me is so dull.....apart from a few things (Shelton, Christian, HBK still having great matches)

on the whole I stick to collecting old ppv's and so on..still a HUGE wrestling fan though....just not of the current product.

The main reason I think most fans come back to it every week is that they all have this small glimmer of hope that things will get better the following week or maybe the next PPV.

For me, I watch RAW every week just b/c the wrestlers I like are on it and it's become my Monday night tradition.

I read the SD! spoilers than watch it, but if there is something in the spoliers I might like to watch, I'll tune in. I actually tape SD! and then fwd to the bits I want to see.

As for the weekend shows, don't bother with them really and as for the PPVs only watch RAW and the inter-promotional ones.
